Ich hatte das Glück Eure Kollegen von der Klein Matterhorn Seite zwei mal begleiten zu dürfen als es noch Gratis war und das bis zum Feierabend! War ein mega Erlebnis mit tollen Fahrern! Es ist schon sehr faszinierend mit solchen Maschinen in so einer Kulisse zu arbeiten und es ist auch nicht jeder Abend gleich. Beating the snow "to death" every night until the snow crystals are perfectly rounded and don't adhere to each other anymore.....every day by 11 am those slopes are nothing but large ice sheets with big piles of "sugar" here and there.....too many skiers, not enough acreage.....that is what high speed, high capacity lifts have produced. It used to be that when a ski run was groomed, by blades either mounted on the front of back of machines it took another machine to dress up the surface towing "powder makers" (large expanded metal rollers).....it took more skill and it took more time but it didn't "kill" the snow like tillers do.....the blades leveled the bumps but did not destroy the crystals....the powder makers only affected the top 2 inches of the snowpack....after a day or two the slope could be groomed again bringing back up to the surface snow that was not "dead" (rounded crystals) Those crystals could bind together again....the runs stayed skiable for longer without re-grooming. Today groomed runs HAVE to be groomed every night otherwise they are unskiable. (I spent 25 winters grooming ski runs....over a 40 year period...and that my 2 cents!)
mostly it is only single wires that tear and not the whole cable immediately. depending on the steepness of the slope, it can be problematic if the cable breaks.
Wow einfach geil. Der schwarze Finisher killt alles. Aber die LED Rul gefallen nicht so gut. Die alten drehenden sehen in der Nacht epischer saus finde ich. Da sieht mein Film über Pistenbullys wieder scheiße aus:) Aber noch eine Frage wie heißt der NCS?
Danke für das Lob. Ja die schwarzen Finisher passen super, gefallen mir besser als die gelben (vorallem am Level Red). Aber ist Geschmakssache wie die Blitzer. Sieht doch gut aus, ich habe auch mal angefangen und bin auch kein Profi und mache es nur nebenbei. Das erste lied ist von NCN wenn du das meinst.

Interesting video, but what if the cable snaps off? Wouldn't it be a safety problem?
