'Correctional Services provides support, but does not fund tertiary education for inmates'

Over 180 inmate matric candidates wrote the National Senior Certificate exams last year, achieving a 93.2% pass rate. We ask the Department of Justice and Correctional Services who pays for those inmates who choose to further their education.
