Something I"m going to have to google later: If a B5 ship without a Jump Drive is going through Hyperspace, and its end point Jump Gate is destroyed, is it marooned in Jump Space (there was one episode where a fighter was trapped and had to be rescued, as I remember)?
What would be cool is to see the Vulcans, Starfleet and possibly membari work together to design and build organic ship technology. Bet they'd rival species 8472 vary quickly. THAT species would DOMINATE the shadow vessels. Just being able to stand their ground against 8472 would at least keep them from being destroyed by the shadows

I wonder what software(s) they use to create the models and how difficult to create a ship from three models (Galaxy class/battleship, USS Reliant and NX-01)? ;-)
I liked this second video much better. Vulcans and the Federation worked together. The first one all three Klingon vessels were destroyed with hardly any effort.
OK, perhaps I'm just being greedy, but I'd like to see an epic mashup that includes the Stargate franchise ships as well. Now that would be very intertesting!
thats a galaxy refit and that was a beast that would surpass soverign class in fire power and defences. Federation upgraded the galaxy classes during the dominion war and dubbed them "Galaxy Refit" was borne. Look at the last episode of the picard season 3 on how a old galaxy refit (enterprise) destroyed the super borg tran-warp conduit cube that was the size of a moon. So certainly the galaxy would have destroyed the shadow vessels and even vurlon vessels.
It was basically armor versus shields And Power The shadows have a single weapon They're biological shields or beautiful thing But But they're breached The whole ship dies Shields Will Help a Attenuate A lot of it's power By the way That was a beautiful rendering
I think the Shadow vessels can take on any ship in Star Trek, but it won't be a slaughter, not against the capital ships. The reason the Shadow seems so powerful in B5 is because none of the ships in B5 have shields.

The best strategy for the Vulcans and Star Fleet would be hit and run attacks from subspace, as the Shadows didn't know about it. If they had time, they could have replicated defector shield generators and given them to their new allies - their shields held up okay to the Shadows. The Big E's shields would have been even more advanced. Janeway's nanotech armor would be great too.
what about the number of telepaths in the Federation like the Betazoids?
Borg could probably be helpful (a rare example of Borg being what the Galaxy needs to defend itself)
@@angelrivera2339 It would depend on if the Shadows tried to take them over, like the did with the PSY Corps people. The Shadows conquering Vulcan or Betazed would give them an army to control the Shadow ships.
The shadows were millions of years old and you think they didn't know about subspace? They and the Vorlons knew about 3d space...
@@angelrivera2339 Betazoids were empaths and a few were telepaths like Troi's mother... a few among the Andorian but not like the level we saw on B5...
Excellent, oh how I loved Babylon 5.
I've been killing time waiting for a PBS series to come on. This the 3rd one I've watched. So, I guess that I'm NOT "killing time " after all. 😊 ALL three have been fun to see ! Excellent graphics, good story lines, they held my attention. I watched "Star Trek " in it's original run and still watch the reruns again and again. I have 6 of the movies on VHS and the latest movies on DVD . I have two VHS " Next Generation " movies? too. But I'm NOT a " Trekkie " !! Just a Sci-Fi fan .
Grew up on B5 / TNG and Voyager 👍
Something I"m going to have to google later: If a B5 ship without a Jump Drive is going through Hyperspace, and its end point Jump Gate is destroyed, is it marooned in Jump Space (there was one episode where a fighter was trapped and had to be rescued, as I remember)?
That marooned fighter met a Shadow...
Right, I DEFINITELY seen some X4 ships lol, some of those fighter craft, and at least one of the ships
Toll 👍👍

@@SpacialKatana 😁👍
very nice video,, thank you.
Love everything about this! Animation, FX, music, pacing, camera work. Well done! The mesh fragmentation is something I want to do. Is this done in Unreal or Unity? Maybe blender? No matter what it's great. Congrats.
Done with Lightwave 3D. Cheers.
Very nice work but make sure you change the settings on your "stars" so that they don't cast shadows.
Eh? They're on a background image so I've got no idea what you're on about
So who is in the flying box ship?
That was really good 🖖 Thanks
Yay!! For the Enterprise!!
Didn't she do well 🤗
Didb't do a whole lot for me, the vulcan sheilds would have faired better, why didn't the shadow go after the earth ship from the beginning? Valcans aren't blind to ships in "hyperspace". Would like to see more of this combo.
Sorry sp, Vulcan
GREAT WORK! I couldn't figure out at first why you gave the Enterprise-D a victory over a Shadow vessel. I'm guessing you watched Picard Season 3
Watched the last episode just for the FX, no idea what was going on 😝
🤣
Now galaxy class federation ships too,? Destroyed 2 Shadow vessels? Nuts
I wonder what software(s) they use to create the models and how difficult to create a ship from three models (Galaxy class/battleship, USS Reliant and NX-01)? ;-)
Software used is Lightwave 3D, and splicing parts of different models together (known as kit bashing) is easy.
Freaking awesome!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Sorry I don't do SG.
Amazing visuals.
Thanks.
Nice video but the Enterprise D would get its ass handed to it by a Shadow Vessel.
And frequently does if you care to peruse.
thats a galaxy refit and that was a beast that would surpass soverign class in fire power and defences.
When did Starfleet develop the ability to open jump gates?
When the plot demands it.
It's the Picard era Enterprise, Mr Data obviously figured out how to open a jump portal.....
Thank you.
Wow..that Enterprise had SOME technology going on!
I know, it's like they can suddenly invent shields to protect them from a star or something...
Don't understand why the shadow vessel did a straight stand up fight instead of their usual stealth attacks for the battle at the end.
