Oh my! Sue has left us. I’m sure the friendships and joy of this retreat gave her a good final memory.
Mom really enjoyed the retreat and was planning on going again sometime. Thankyou all.
I’m still in shock that Sue passed away. I sat next to her at the retreat and was enjoying getting to know her better and really enjoyed her company. She was working so hard, making more quilts for the kids in wheelchairs…She’s been on my mind the last couple of weeks, now I know why.
Thankyou so much for being a sewing buddy. She really enjoyed the retreat. Loved seeing mom in this video. Maybe I'll have a turn and come join in the fun of a future retreat.
Thankyou all for that special time that she had.
@@lostinspace280 I’m so sorry Ken. I sat next to Sue at the last retreat and we had some lovely conversations. I was very happy to have the opportunity to get to know her better and really enjoyed her company. She made two beautiful quilt tops at the retreat and the love she poured into them was clear. I will remember her with love and gratitude. Big hugs and comfort to you, I’m so very sorry Ken.

All of the quilts are beautiful I absolutely love the bears and replay the video multiple times but still am not sure what the name of the pattern that was used is. If you know can you link to it or let me know?! Also, I’m sorry for your loss. Your friend and fellow quilter was so very talented and I’m sure a wonderful person! It was a beautiful tribute to her! It warms my heart because of all the crafting communities, quilting is the kindest, most loving, caring and generous community that I have the privilege of being a tiny, tiny part of!!
She said the pattern is the Melody bear from Funky Friends Factory. The clothes are from Best Dressed Bears. Hope this answers your questions.
