- I generally find Beretta over and under shotguns to be quite light and small in the hands. Quite different from my personal prefernces.
This was until I used the Beretta DT11 Sporting on some clays at Barbury Shooting School. Wow! What a gun.
I have been writing a review for Sporting Gun Magazine and thought why not do a video whilst I had the gun for testing.

I use a DT-11 for sporting clays and a Benelli M4 for bird hunting. Both serve me very well
Nice video Rob 👍 I’ve always had Beretta’s and currently shoot clays with a 694 which I think is a great gun. Steelium barrels and produces very good patterns and smooth on the shoulder too.

Which camera are you using mounted to the gun and which settings do you use with it (zoom / resolution etc ?)
Wondering if that DT 11 you're shooting has a left hand palm swell with cast on stock? Was the gun fitted for you?
It does have a left hand palm swell 👍 and no I didn’t have the gun fitted but was a very good fit for me

i shot the 32" Beretta 694 last week. Like you i've never got on with Beretta's but i loved it.
I've got one, and this week I lasered it. Going to try it out Friday.

I should have put some thought into Beretta while shopping for a new shotgun. I bought a Franchi Instinct SL, chambered in 20 Guage. It's light to carry, shoots well, but its hard to open. Thats Frustrating for me.
Just curious? Did you pattern the shot placement before shooting at clays?
I love the DT11 but its a hefty investment but as a lefty it feels so natural to shoot it. I never shot fiber but with a plastic wad the shot itself is in a cup, with fiber its not, is this causing extra barrel wear?
I'm not sure if the extra cost over my 694 would be worth it? Is there much difference?

Nice video, great coverage as well. DT 11 are so heavy and there are some other manufacturers that produce better spread patterns through their barrels.

Interesting that you say the DT11 handles like your F3. Like you I am left handed, although I have a DT11 and have been thinking about moving over or at least giving the F3 a try.
Best advice you’ll get for free??….!! Drop in (by prior arrangement) to Coombe Farm Sporting. You can’t go wrong…. And if someone says “suits you Sir”…. You won’t go far wrong.

F3 because I’ve shot it for so long and I do prefer a raised rib on the F3 Vantage purely because I find it is a comfortable head position 👍

DT11 are big pieces of shit had 3 of them and warranty issues are a pain in the ass sold all of them and guess what I've had no issues THANKS. K80 more money but no problems
