Can't You Change DirectX in 64-bit TF2?

There seems to be an issue with people not being able to change Team Fortress 2 to run with other DirectX versions. This is due to the latest update. There might be a fix very soon but I am not sure!

You cant launch Dxlevel 80 or 81, you can do Dxlevel 90 to 95
The reason being, the straight level of downgrade you're giving the game on graphics, besides that you can still change the Dxlevel IN-GAME, opening the console command, and doing mat_dxlevel 80 - 95 (those are the numbers you can use) 80, 81, 90, 91, 95.

That wouldn't be changing dx level just material dx level

@@dark0ssx Correct me right or wrong, isn't there also 98? I'll make another video on TF2 but being on all the dx levels in a benchmark with the latest 64-bit update and also with Vulkan and OpenGL or apparently those are only available to Linux users or at least its not being reported on RivaTuner Stats.

That's good! I didn't really try any other values besides 81 which is known to be most stable and best for performance. So when I tried that and it failed I thought it'd be the same for each one. But if 80 works that's great for some who have issues with anything above that.

@@asadi145 Well I know that now. I tried it two days ago. 60, 70, 80, 81 all are not available after 64-bit update, so you can only use 90, 95, 98 or 100.

Sorry, but I can't fix issues if I am not experiencing them or without details about the crash. Do you crash from joining valve servers or community? Have you tried making your own local server by playing with tf2 bots?
