Thames Path pt 2. Ashton Keynes to Lechlade

Finally back on the Thames Path after months of travel restrictions. I guess like many people I was just itching to be out and about again to feel that freedom after lock down.
On this section of the path I start from the spot where I had to abandon my walk last time, and walk to Lechlade my original finishing point. I found it very interesting watching the Thames evolve from a small pile of stones into the infancy of the mighty river that most of us know so well, I hope I have been able to reflect that in this video and my previous video.

Another lovely video. In theory the river is navigable by ‘small craft’ (undefined) as far as Inglesham and by canoes and skiffs as far as the town bridge at Cricklade, presumably by those who don’t mind doing their Volga Boatman impersonation.
