1-2 seasons of world building, gearing up for 1-2 seasons depicting the war for Ultramar would be so awesome to see in a TV show done proper.
My brain does a funny every time I heard Ultramarines protecting Erebus
Fuck Erebus lmao
Heretic! Lobotomy!
Bonus facts: the hive world of Ograhm which was in the same subsector of Sanctum ultimately fell to the Tyranids. Also the Raven guard found a humongous planet sized bio ship. At this point the Imperium’s only hope is for the Mechanicus to fight its way past Vashtorr and the Necrons and get enough black stone to make a bunch of massive anti-psychic weapons to disrupt the hive mind.
Is that a novel or the pariah nexus supplements? I need to read that!
@@tcondon95 nah it was something posted online on Warhammer community after a big narrative event tournament.
Too bad they couldnt build something like a pariah nexus around terra and the solar system but because it slowly kills humans it's nit a feasible plan. And beyond that im almoat certain the tyranids can evolve beyond it with enough time.
Nah just gotta combine the Necrons to get involved & fight the Nids alongside us. They’re the perfect counter to this threat
Very well done. It explains a lot that I wasn't sure of, like where and when the tyranids first appeared. I'm 71yrs old and have enjoyed 40k since I first saw the game being played at my local comic book store back in the 90s, I think.
Wow Tony, you’re a true wh40k veteran. Nice! ;)
May the emperor protect you.
Throne! Tony youre a badass!
This is astonishing!
WAIT DO WE FORGET ENTIRE DECADES AT AGE 70? LOL WHAT DO YOU MEAN I THINK?

I was wondering why his voice sounded so familiar! Didnt put it together
It is why he's my favourite 40k channel.

Ah the "breaking blade", my favorite Baneblade variant..
I've just heard the "Breaking Bad" theme reading this comment.
Thank Grandfather he sent the Death Guard turn up to help the Imperium.
That was throwing me off too
@harrisonbliss1028 he mean Death Watch i make the same mistake all the time
Yeah "death guard" kept tripping my happy wire... like wtf?
Tyranids: Dear Imperium, we mean no harm. We're just really hungry. Don't you understand how long it takes to float through space from system to system? There are no inflight meals or complimentary snacks. 😭 And you are really crunchy and go well with ketchup.
Come back here you little shit! I mean you no harm

Great videos. Love the content. Hours and hours of lore and great visuals. Makes me want to paint minis while listening to this.
Brother your content is so good, I don't even mind that your poor bot can't decide how to pronounce gene stealer and tyrranid 😂. Keep it up bot you'll get it someday
I just found you this week and you just keep delivering new content. Keep it up brother ❤

My favourite Iterator!!
you are my main source for 40k lore im new to it and i love it really is so immersive I would love a 40k mmo open sandbox comparable to wow but i think it would be soo much better the lore is so effing good
There was 1 cool mmo game but unfortunately it was ruined by cheaters :(
@@ImperialIterator what was it called? it no longer exists?

Love your voice and narrative prose. Do you narrate audio books? You should.
52:28 Space Mountain bottom left corner, great vid
Death Guard OR Deathwatch?
Thing he meant Deathwatch.
Also planet Erebus? I do not know just sounds really odd for an Imperial world.espically after the Heresy.
Man the voice . The set up and delivery is great in vids and great lore
Question..
Does the Shadow in the Warp produced by the tyranids presence disrupts, override, smothers or have ANY adverse effects on the Orks natural passive psychic power of Waaaaaaaaaurgh?
If I understand the Waaaaaaaaaurgh.. it only becomes more pronounced and powerful if there's A LOT of Orks in any given area that believes in the same thing...
How would these psychic powers clash against each other? Or does such forces never interact with each other?
@@user-fo8ty3kc4v HMMMMMMMMMM!
if i understand your point.. your perspective boils down to: these 2 types of psychic phenomenon distinctly effect real space & immaterium incongruently & don't necessarily interact with each other because* 1 is derived from real space* & the other is borne out to effect those who draw psychic power from the warp^ ??
did i get that correct?
I love the artwork from Arch's channel. Based.
34:34 ahh nooo not the Jenny stealers
Great video. I'm not super familiar with the 40k universe. How long is the average human life span in this era? It's crazy, and convenient, that the same humans are still alive and able to lend their experience more than 200 years after the initial Tyrannid invasion.
Convenient? It's the year 40,000+ where humans have colonized every corner of the galaxy. Use your head rather than your mouth.
No mention of Cato Siccarius, I am sad :(
Great video bro, I can't wait for more awesome content.❤
Ok man.
When you made this you SERIOUSLY never had a problem with calling "GeneStealers"; 'Jenna Stealers' ?
Your voice is amazing.
could be found in Jorphdan's Map of Hell
Great video !
I wish you would use your own voice for this as you are a good writer
Excellent narration
liked this video...very detailed lore , appreciate it
49:55 lol is that a still from Avengers where the nuke destroys the command ship?
Love this video!
Great video. Thank you
lol. I could not help but overlay this explanation of chaos to the modern day politics of this country.
This would be so much better if it was a bit slower.
Their indomitable power could quenched should Cawl could find a way to duplicate Mr. Manhattan' s capabilities. 🤔 yup.
What do we have to do to get a tryannid vs imperium tv show???
I love the tyrannies!
Did you say you love 'trannies?' like at the Paris Olympic opening ceremonies?
I dont know whats better. This guys wonderful scripts, or the comments from people who dont understand his servitor is the one reading the script 😂

Super smurt man.
No one. It's a generated image.
Arch Warhammer cameo at 11:10.

Hell YEA!!!
You need a legion to put the tyranids down. Where the world eaters at 😂
Why keep saying death guard while it is actually death watch
Death guard are Nurgles marines, the Death Watch are imperium Space Marine special forces
Ventris never leads the death guard 😂
what more bad-ass than a guardsman with an M16/203 an ancient weapon from ancient terra with powerful magazine packed with 5.56 projectiles and 40mm grenades capable of making even the angels of heaven run for cover.
21:13 who is Lord Roy 😂
The script needs obvious proofreading. Otherwise, it sounds decent.
Maybe tweak the voice some more to avoid future legal troubles.
this voice another one of those type and it reads deals?
Yeah let the blood run down the cross and the dead walk
death watch or death guard?
Never stop with your 'special' pronunciation of certain words (like Genestealers). I also really like the way you pronounced 'Primarchs' (Preemarks). You gave it a 'High-gothic' twist with an almost German pronunciation.
it's another world another realm
@DavidHattenburough, Greetings Tina, No it’s not me narrating, it must be an Hattenburough Wanna-be.

Tyranids are ruining Nergals fun. Not much intrique and advancement to be had if your play things are broken. He will likely wipe them out.
dude turn the bass down when your editing these videos
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'd like to see a lore change to the Nids, where they are independent creatures with personality, until the hive mind possess' them for battles and they become proppa Tyranids.

Come on. Thats the zerg.
Probably because Starcraft was intended as a WH40k game… so its the Zerg that is the Tyranids and not the other way around.

Zerg are a rip off.
Awesome video, very entertaining.I’m still new to 40k but I can say this universe sucks 🤣🤣🤣
Do you purposefully mispronounce every single faction and character???
Gene is literally pronounced the same as the name… it’s not like it not a common name as well as a common topic in secondary school.
Hint hint, there is no “he”, only a facsimile of a human voice
The voice is the most off putting thing, can never listen for more than a few seconds
Great video, but the Tyranids are my least favorite race in 40k, as they have almost no personality whatsoever. There can not, and will never be, any novel following the Tyranids from their own point of view. They are great for tabletop, but terrible for any meaningful narrative.
True, but I'd say their lack of complexity is their strength. They're singular minded to consume and never stop growing and consuming. You can't reason, you can't barter, you can only hope to survive. They're a force of nature
Well there could be, it’d just be one word over and over again
NOM NOM NOM NOM
Spoken like a true flesh bag waiting to be assimilated. 😂
Sparing release of material from the tyranid perspective would be interesting as exposition material on their conflict against other exotic xenos like chaos entities or Nurgle chapters. But where they weakened the drama surrounding Tyranids was exposing the Swarm Lord role. Because that concept is rather hollow and can never have as much layer as a host of individual characters from other factions.
Unless they give the tyranid behavior variety. But for the most part the tyranids always seem to function as repetitive and predictable concept because they are not given room for individual expression or therefore adaptive creativity found in similar brands like Aliens. Where the species is a hivemind but have room for creative problem solving, making each xenomorph more unpredictable and adaptive than a tyranid.
If they add that element, then perhaps introducing more than one installment from their perspective wouldnt be so stiff and bland. Because any xenomorph under the right circumstance can become a Queen when driven to far from the hivemind. Which is why they have room for adaptability. Whereas so far that concept isnt present in the Tyranid. The swarm lord dies, the whole tyranid source is ruined. A xenomorph queen dies, the horror continues because a new queen will appear.
A tyranid is just a mindless extension of a Swarm Lord and there isnt much else to it. That limits depth to them. And make the solution quite obvious. And after going over one Tyranid incursion from start to finish, there isnt much difference to be expected when going over a separate infestation.
While they are devastating, they can be a tad boring. Simple and constant devastation gets old after a while I suppose. They are fun to play though, but can be kind of easy to defeat if you equip correctly. But 40K is all about options isn't it?
I cant stand the Nids. There's no drama outside of sheer dread. Theres no emotional action, no heroic duels. Even that fight El Johnson had with the hive tyrant was just him killing a monster. Yeah, his troopers might e been inspired and the fight well written, but theyre just soulless mouths. Never been able to enjoy really anything about them. Theyre a lazy mechanism of plot steering.
Respectfully I disagree. I would liken the lack of inner emotional narrative of Tyranids to Shakespeare's Iago; evil for evil's sake. Or The Others from AGOT, as a threat so vast and terrible they make a mockery of interior political landscape. They represent a crucial aspect of war in its ultimate form, precisely because their incoherent brutality is so senseless.
You're conceptualizing them as a character. That's not what they are. They're a force of nature.

Awesome video, seriously. I'm going to be bookmarking this for probably several future re-watchings.
Jenna-stealer are truly the worst 😂
Probably couldn't make it work with that word and putting jean stealer had unforeseen consequences when the audio interpreted it as whole worlds were deprived of all Denim in fierce battles.
