I appreciate the tips dude, they're always a great jumping off point for someone like myself who theoretically understands how to use Ableton but has difficulty adopting a workflow or even starting point.
Awesome tips for people who has not studied musical theory, (and also for that ones that did). Thank you very much, greetings from Montevideo Uruguay 🇺🇾
Yo dude, thx a lot for the vid, always very helpful to see your workflow. I've got a question however: you're talking about scales and chords pretty naturally. How did you educate yourself on that topic!? Are there any books or maybe ever courses you can recommend to us? Thx a bunch and keep up the good work ;)
Do you actually hear if the sample chord is in key? I always wondered how the hell you can know, I know you can use an eq to check where the notes hit hardest but like I think it's hard to hear, for a beginner like me it is tho 😅
So glad that you make these video's, really having a hard time learning to create music of this type of genre
His videos are awesome.

Hi Julien, any idea how the lead synth of Luminous by Fabrication was set up?

you need to learn your scales and key signatures, then you'll be able to hear it.
Try the Ableton Tuner plug-in, too.
dude, I love you, you are a genius but listen to your voice... kind of take me like "off out the beat", but you are awesome
he must have some kind of medical condition with nose or vocal cords or something... im sure hes aware of it
