I actually have a sentro 22 Pin and I made this sock after watching here. OMG I have and 8.5 Wide foot and did about 140 rows and wear it scrunched up style at the ankle. Its heavenly soft, thick, and no pulling and no giant stretched out holes. I'm so amazed how well this tube sock looks and fits on my wide foot. Thank You! I tried the blue color of pipsqueak and it had a bulkier feel and different hand feel than the multicolored and it did not work. But the pink blue green and yellow multi works like a dream without a single issue. I did use a small weight in the center to keep those stitches flowing and as sock grew I just rolled it up.
I have ordered the Addi 22 and will be trying your socks. I been making socks for years by hand. Then using a loom. Both straight loom and round. So I'm excited that I will be making them faster . You're a great teacher!!
Yay! Congratulations on your new loom. These are super easy. I love also adding hot glue dots to the bottom to help them be a little less slick. Out of curiosity....do you add heels on the ones you usually make on a loom?
Love this pattern!!! For me this took two skeins Bernat “pipsqueek”. They fit me, and I have wide calves, size 11 shoes. Thank you so much!!! I knitted mine on a 22 pin Sentro.
I have a bunch of pipsqueak yarn that I bought for stuffie toys. It would be perfect for these socks!!! Thank you for sharing this easy to follow video. Especially the embroidered part!!! I’m gonna go sock crazy!! Lol My daughter loves socks so I’m gonna hook her up at Christmas 🎄 🧦
Is the sock stretchy like that? I can't wear anything tight because of lymphedema. I'm especially looking for it to he loser at the ankle and calf. Do i have chance to knit it "wider"? I love to wear soft socks like these, but i struggle to find them in my size. So i considered making them. Thanks for the tutorial.
You could use the addi king-size to make them lower. Then you could crochet around the top to make them tight enough to stay up. There is also a 32 pin machine called the "mushroom house" that would make them a bit bigger.
Hi! Thank you for this super handy video. Do you think this machine size would also be suitable for making knee/this high socks or leg warmers? Greetings!
I made several pair of these last winter for myself, they will be my Christmas gifts next year😁. I also did shorter ones that make great “dusters” for the house👍. Where did u get your drill attachment? Love it!
👋 hi, looks great fun to make, will definitely knit these when I get my Addi for Xmas. Can I ask where you got the handle attachment for your drill? Cheers xx
Please help me Addi Queen! I just got my 22 pin today. Now 2 Addis! But Hobby Lobby tells me the bernat is disco. There is no more coming! What yarn can I use for socks like yours?
Last year I ordered the sentro brand and within a week it was broken and trashed. I really want to use this but worried the stitches will slip or I break it. Any suggestions on how to stop being scared of them
You just have to try it, and take it slow. I suggest buying an addi from a certified seller rather than amazon because they come with a pretty nice warranty
Sorry Addi Queen I guess there was only one yarn used to make the socks. I don't know where I got the idea there was two different kids of yarn used, sorry to have bothered you..
Everytime I try to make a sock with waste yarn it always falls apart, I know I must of missed a stitch while crocheting but I don't know how I keep messing it up :(
I find it easier to knit about 3 inches with waste yarn at the start. Once you get to 3 inches, start using your main yarn and knit for a bit, then pull the 3 inches through and hook the stitches of your main colour back onto your knitting hooks. Once you turn the handle, the stitches will knit back into the main body of your sock and no crochet necessary! It's a lot easier and gives a lovely stretchy top about 1.5 inches deep. Good luck!
@@TheAddiQueen thank you for your help I will go to my walmart in few days I am going to see what they have. We don't have any other stores like hobby lobby or the other ones.
@@yarnworksbylydianannen3396 i have been super busy running competitively, so my 3 hour practices have taken over my typical knitting time. I have been making some baby bonnet though!

There is another way to pull up the stitches from the machine with a needle so you don't have to use scrap yarn and you don't have to crochet. There are many videos on how to do this by other posters.

That's awesome! I usually put hot glue dots on the bottom to help reduce how slippery they are

You know it’s serious when she pulls out the drill

Thank you! Have had my machine for over a year wasn’t sure how to use for socks! I love knee high socks! I will be making a lot now! 😇🙏♥️
I have been searching for a quick, easy sock pattern, so thank you!
Thank you! Glad this helped
Thank you! You’re the only tutorial I’ve found that gave the sock size! :)
Thank you for the tutorial. I made them with Bernat Velvet and they are so soft. Love it!
Where can I buy the bernat velvet yarn at? Can it be good with addi knitting machine?
Those are super cute and look so comfortable!!! Thanks for the tutorial - super helpful as usual 😊
Thank you for your continued support Jean!
Love love love them can’t wait to make myself a pair on my new Addi Thank you for sharing beautiful
Highly recommend the hygge yarn for this. Works great in the addi!!
Thanks so much for the tutorial! I like the idea to use a drill to power the machine.
The handle broke on my 22 pin, so i definitely use the drill most of the time now

Cozy for a week, I walk Holes in mine. Good bed sock.❤️
You made Avery nice video. You make me want the machine!
Found thin yarn at dollar tree store that seems to work. You will need to buy 2-3 skins of it .
Hi, I'm wondering if you leave the toe end undone (like the top end) and crocheted around that opening, then you would have a pair of leg warmers. 🙂
You probably could, but most likley for children. I don't think i could get it over my calves 🤣

Love these. I’ve made several pair for women . What size do you suggest for men? 😊
No clue! I have never tried. I would maybe use the 32 pin machine since men have bigger feet
Hi, great video. Where did you got the drill attachment, please. Many thanks

I guess it really depends on the person, if their calves are super thick, they may not go over

Love the socks, I replaced Sentro 22 with Addi 22.
Bernat pipsqueak is a bulky 5. Is that what you are using?
Thanks for your help😊
Yes, it is bernat pipsqueak!
hey, what is the name of the equipment/tools you are using?
What yarn did you use? ❤
What size of wool is this?
I no longer have the wrapper. I do believe it was a 4 or one of the thinner weight 5 yarns.
Very cute socks.
Thank you!
Love these!!! Do you know how I would do these for children?? Besides doing less rows, what else would you suggest??
I would suggest doing a tighter crochet at the top so they fit a smaller leg
Love this Tks Ann
You said that was a baby yarn you used to make the socks right?? What kind was it??
Bernat pipsqueak
