- We have a new member of our family! His name is Naota, and he was the inspiration behind this nostalgic Minecraft dog cake. This cake took a lot of time and was a lot of work, but I'm really happy with the way it came out! Let me know in the comments what you think.

Here are some ideas that I think would be cool as cakes:
● A Sandcastle or anything out of Sand
● A sliced cake piece(Thats actually is a whole cake)
● A liquid like a glass of wine or water
● Something out of snow

I am really good at making impressions of Minecraft sounds so as soon as she went to cut the cake, I immediately made the sound of a wolf dying and had a laugh about it.

You should make a Minecraft torch-either game size and see how small of a cake you can fit in the middle of the base, or a giant torch

honestly, minecraft diamond sword replicas are really common, but itd be awesome to see you make a cake one!!
not only would it be fun to see what you do with it as far as making it glowy/shiny/ect, itd be really funny to see a diamond sword cut in half by a normal kitchen knife lol

If you want to do more pixel cakes, there's a bunch of crazy characters from Crossy Road that would love to have your attention... including one called "Doge" which is supposed to be a Shibu Ina... but there's TONS more that would make really nice 8 bit style cakes.... love your work Nat

I love Shiba Inus, and especially puppy Shibas; they're so cute 🥰
Just watch out for their hunting instinct, you could be on a walk and suddenly be pulled into a run like a bat out of hell if they catch sight of a squirrel 😂 I know from experience. You'll have a very loyal and loving friend for sure. They're one of my favourite breeds.

if you ever do another portrait cake of someone, could you try harry styles? I’ve loved one direction for 8 years and harry’s solo music for 2 so it would be awesome. I also find him very adorable so seeing him as cake would be cool!
I bought one of those mini ice cube trays from Daiso many years ago and have been using it to make tiny ice cubes for a teething toddler the past few months. My other 2 kids are really into minecraft though, so I might just have to repurpose it! Thanks for the inspiration!

My favorite game to play is New Super Mario Brothers from 2008 on Nintendo’s old Wii console. My siblings and I used to have a BLAST laughing and yelling when we were younger and I miss those days. Now, we still have the Wii and game and sometimes occasionally get to play together as older people and it brings back so many memories. Love this cake! You did amazing making it. It looks so good!

Minecraft is my whole childhood, every TH-camr I've ever watched were playing Minecraft, I still love Minecraft, heck i still watch people who play it ! It's fun and amazing, 3 of my favourite TH-camrs are probably, technoblade (o7 king), ldshadowlady and Tommyinit, all amazing and chaotic people.
Minecraft is one of those games that even when you are in your 40-50, you will still enjoy it and maybe play it sometimes :] at least that how i feel about it !

I remember when I used to play Kirby’s Return to Dreamland with my brother. We would use the rock ability which would turn Kirby into a random rock or sculpture whenever you used it. But some sculptures were rarer than others. So we would sit in the ability for hours trying to find the rarest one.

I’ve played Minecraft ever since I was a little kid (I’m 21 now), and I have made friends through mutual Minecraft servers, made art in the game, it helped me manifest my artistic ideas into a 3D visual. Plus, simple resource management is one of those games I find peace with. I love this cake, it reminds me of the pixel art I used to do when I was younger (not in terms of quality, in terms of assembly. I literally took 2x2 squares of color to put the pieces together, cause that’s how it fit in my brain).
For nostalgic video game moments: I've been playing a lot of Legend of Zelda randomizers, and every time I play Ocarina of Time - particularly in Dodongo's Cavern and the Forest Temple - I flash back to long nights staying up late with my childhood best friend playing this game. He was usually doing all the playing because initially I was really scared of dungeons, so most of my memories are lying on the couch half-asleep watching him play.

As far as nostalgia goes, I don’t know if anything beats Mario or Pac-Man, or Sonic. I personally didn’t play much Pac-Man, but I did play a lot of Sonic on the original SEGA, yes I’m that young ❤ But I also played a huge amount of, just so so so many hours of Mario. Actually, I would love to see a Mario or a Sonic cake, that would be amazing!
For Mario, you could 100% create a cake version of Mario, but one of the walking bombs (enemy or ally version), Goomba or Piranha Plant, or Yoshi! ❤

You could use these mini chocolate blocks to make all sorts of scenes on a cake. You could create a Steve fighting monsters in a cave made from cake or you could make one of the many structures found in Minecraft like desert temples and ancient cities. There’s so much you can do with a bunch of chocolate blocks and some cake.

“WHY IS SHE KILLING THAT POOR INNOCENT WOLF! WHEN DID THEY ADD KNIVES 😭”
