The piping bag cake with chocolate instead of buttercream is ironically the only cake Natalie has made that doesn't have frosting. It's a cake made to look like something that has everything to do with frosting but it has no actual frosting in it.
Both versions are amazing! Although the chocolate one seemed to be slightly off the real green buttercream color (darker). But the bubbles that you were talking about looked like condensed water to me, so that's perfectly fine. Just imagine that it came right out of the fridge. 😊

If she had simply used a taller glass and put less chocolate in the piping bag, and then NOT CUT THE PIPING BAG but instead, folded it over the glass, she could have pushed the cake pop in all the way, and then it would have displaced the chocolate up over the top of the cake pop, or she could have added additional chocolate to cover the cake. But cutting the bag was a bad move because she couldn’t push the pop in without it overflowing the chocolate out of the bag.
Husband Dave’s editing just keeps getting better and better! I think it’s so cool that you had a “brain blast” (anybody get the reference? 😁😁😁) on how to make your signature butter cream frosting work for the second cake and I have to say, I definitely prefer the second one to the first one. Great job guys!
