The look of adoration on your face says it all! You’re absolutely correct when you say how multi-faceted J Hope is. He is the Hope diamond 2.0! Just another example of why Suga explains their performances as “integrated content” which is spot-on. Another great reaction....apologies for enjoying seeing you so shook lol!
same and finally! ppl start to realize things or just the audience start to be changing from 13 years old to older))) no disrespect to anyone, I still adore all 7 of them!
@@alexa-el7pf yeees, im thankful that it isn’t 2013 or 2014 anymore. im thankful finally he’s getting the love, appreciation, attention anf credits he DESERVES! 😭😭😭
It's impossible not to be mesmerized by J-Hope when he dances like this. He's so expressive with his moves and has so much control over his body... And his body rolls kill me everytime. Like you, he's one of my biases but, here, he bias wrecks me x) I agree when you say he's a born performer ! And I will forever be grateful to be able to watch him perform.
For me, my interpretation of boy meets evil and this whole comeback was more of an inner struggle. Especially because this was the comeback after the Youth trilogy and it explores growing men who are encountering inner demons like temptation, lust, greed, and sin. Also, because the youth trilogy focused on the external forces that created problems for them (example: family, money), this comeback focuses on internal forces that they fight with. P.S. So glad that you're a Hobi stan, Hobi can be so underappreciated and I'm always happy to see a creator who also feels attacked whenever he dances, raps, everything. This comeback was my introduction to BTS (specifically the BST dance practice) and been a Hobi stan since day 1. P.P.S. So excited to see your reaction to Blood, Sweat and, Tears. Be ready to be attacked by Hobi A LOT.
I just came across the MV a few days ago myself. It is breath taking. J-Hope was always my 2nd fav, but with this one he completely wrecked me, not just my bias, but my soul. If you have a chance, watch the video on 1/2 speed. You'll be able to see every move and how pristine his dancing is. His dancing is amazing, but it isn't just that, its how the emotion just rolls off him and sweeps you away and somehow it just becomes more intense at the slower speed. There is only one thing wrong with this MV, it is too short - I want more. If I could do nothing but watch him dance forever, it would be heaven.
Biblical is such a great way to put it. I've always seen it was a struggle between good and evil. J-Hope in his element is just otherworldly. Love the reaction as always, you always make me smile. 💜
LOL, I said "I just can't" a second before you said "I can't." Love, love, love this one. One of the overarching themes of this era is temptation and Hobi is the real temptation here. 🔥💜
thanks for your wonderful reaction . the whole wings era is about greed and temptations . Can not wait for your BST reaction especially as your bias is jimin and hobi. borahae💜
I absolutely love your reaction/analysis. J-Hope when he dance is simply mesmerising. The way he moves, his expressions, his voice .. everything about him draws you in 💜💜
Literally boy meets evil is one of the most legendary mvs i've ever seen , The song is amazing the choreo is perfect.. I was waiting for you to react to this ❤️
Hiya, so the wings short films, the songs were each of their solos on the album, but each album also has an intro song which is usually a solo track, for wings it was Hobi's turn. I interperated the lyrics to this as personifying temptation rather than talking about a person. Loved the vid, seeing you shook by Hobi was really fun 💜
This is mesmerizing! A masterpiece! The dancing and the expression is everything! I never seen someone this expressive and his body control is insane 😍 Your reaction is so good, i love it so much, i don't know how many times i've come back here, it's so good 😭 Much love for you Hanna 💜
As always, I absolutely adore your commentary and the thoughtful insights you offer! Your reaction is by far one of the most insightful reactions I have seen of Boy Meets Evil. You always have such interesting observations and commentary, which I find adds another element to the video and leaves viewers with something to ponder. 💜 One of my favourite things about this performance is how splendidly Hoseok was able to express the story of the lyrics through his dance. As you mentioned, one can easily see the struggle in his movements and expressions - as if he is being possessed. During the latter half of the song, you can see the switch that occurs where he finally gives into that 'sweetness' or 'sin.' Perhaps this is why at the end of the video he is shrouded in darkness - signifying how he gave into evil and must now bear the consequence of that choice. I also really appreciate his outfit in this video, as silk brings to mind ideas of opulence, seduction and temptation, which are all themes illustrated in the song. Honestly, there are so many layers to this video and I can't think of a better way to describe it than you as you did: it's an absolute work of art. Hoseok is such a phenomenal dancer and a born performer. His performance is nothing short of exquisite. In relation to how this video ties into the storyline, it's very loosely connected. Technically this video isn't certified as BU content, however just like other videos that aren't necessarily BU, you can see elements that are very reminiscent of the storyline. Nearly all of BTS' albums begin with a short intro-track that has historically been performed by one of the rap-line members (however the vocal-line members have had the opportunity to perform intro tracks in recent years). That's why Hoseok has 2 solo songs in this album - the intro, "Boy Meets Evil," and then just as every member has their own solo song on the album, he also has "MAMA."
Honestly, that SWITCH! By the time that switch happened, I was fighting my own kind of temptation, because I enjoyed his dance symbolizing giving in to temptation way too much... 😅💜
I saw the title and I was like, Uh oh, someone's in danger lol. That was a perfect pause when his abs were showing hahahaha. I got bias wrecked everytime I watch this mv. I feel like this song is quite underrated. It's one of my fav fosho! It shows all j-hope's talents perfectly. The dancing, the rapping, the vocals and did I mentioned the DANCING? lol
I think this song/choreography is part of the reason that Hobi is one of my biases. He was my bias wrecker, but then he just kept wrecking me so much that I realized he was my second bias.
I love Boy Meets Evil..I was stuck on this song for a while.. the lyrics are.. I saw someone mention gothic in regards to the lyrics and I agree. Plus the music arrangement is just absolute perfection. I always wish they'd released a full length version of it.
THANK YOU! I've been waiting years for someone to respond exactly as you did to Hobi kicking the side of his own head with the BOTTOM of his foot. Don't cha just love him.
Boy meets Evil is amazing and deserves much more attention. Hoseok is so talented and I like the fact that the choreo has some contemporary vibes. I don't know if it is just me but I think Hoseok has a very elegant way of moving when he intends it. Anyway, I also love his freestyles in his 'Hope on the Street' videos! There are already many comments about his performance with Jimin but I also recommend the SMA solo dance 💜
Usually every intro of each album's there to represent the concept of that *era* ... *WINGS* : Talks about one's growth and journey to find themselves conflicted in the face of *temptation* . Also, this era was inspired by Hermann Hesse's book "Demian" in wich tempation also plays a big role💜 I really hope this was helpful.
Yes, very helpful, thank you! I wonder what kind of temptation we‘re talking about here, though. 🧐 Is it sexual temptation? Financial temptation? Just a general fight against tempting bad things where you‘re good side is trying to win by not giving in?
@@YouandMe14 I think they kinda leave it to the listener (it really depends in your own experiences in life)...for example in the novel, Emil comes from a very conservative family and reality dictated by his parents/society's *beliefs* ...He struggles to find his new self-knowledge in the *"immoral world"* and is caught between "good" and "evil" once *he starts to grow up* ( those "beliefs" = his *"temptations"* )
I really hope I made myself clear 😔(?) am bad at explaining things 😗✌...also HANNAH YOU MUST TO WATCH HYBE'S LAST VIDEO (Bangtan's company) if u haven't 😨😨😨 im still wanting to cry😢💔💜
I like how you react to Hobi's every movement. I've watched your other videos before this one and your expression changed every time when you saw him. The same is with me))) whenever I see him I can't take my eyes off him. I love all of them, but damn when I see him I kind of forget about the other six ones. So I'm going to subscribe to your channel.
Hey you, every comeback trailer sort of sets the "theme" or "mood" for that specific upcoming album. So it might not necessarily be about the individual themselves but serves as an insight into the feel of the album. In this case it gives us a peek into what Wings album is about (more or less). I love your reactions and I completely loved how Jung-shook you were by j-hope's performance. He is an extraordinary dancer and has absolute mastery over his movements. If you could watch / react to his Bangtan Bomb of him rehearsing for this as well as his 2016 MAMA performance with Jimin. You'll be blown away!
First: Gosh, loved every piece of the video. I'm glad you finally watched this. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Second your interpretation of a "boy getting into sin, struggling, then embracing it, and kind of looking for mercy at the end (the pose you said was almost biblical) is not far fetched. This part of the BU is based on the book of Hermann Hesse called Demian. Through the MVs and song you will see them using Demian's story but interpreted by their stories. In Demian the story is about a boy who lives in a perfect home with perfect parents that constantly warn him about the bad outside, they teach Demian everything is black or white not in between. But you know how humans are, the more we are banned from doing something the more curiosity we feel. So Demian gets himself in trouble and gets in touch with bad people, he knows it's bad but can't help it (it's too sweet, too sweet, too bad). He starts liking the evilness, so he pushs himself deeper into the darkness just to loose himself. Pure goodness was not the answer, pure evilness was not the answer either. So he tries to redeem himself, to find himself, to find the "right" answer. In the book the god they are talking about is Abraxas, he is known as the god of agnosticism. The particularity that sets him apart from other typical mythology gods is that usually there are good gods (Zeus) and bad gods (Hades), is that Abraxas is both, He's the representation of balance, of how you need good and bad, BOTH, to be fully happy, to find your real self. It can be said that Boy meets evil, is the representation of the part of the story were Demian meets evil for the very first time and allows himself into it.
Omg I can't wait for blood, sweat and tears!!! It's so interesting to hear you analysing the lyrics and stuff. It's something that I admire the most, because I'm not good at this at all hahaha, so I'm always left behind when it goes to theories and story lines. About the song itself, Hoseok's voice in this one is so superior, and if we start to talk about his dance.. he's just obviously talented, everybody can see it! Thanks for this reaction 💜
I always enjoy seeing your look of amazement at BTS's talent and artistry, like Hobi here on Boy meets Evil. What more can be said than what you already expressed? This comeback trailer really sets the stage for the Wings era and Blood, Sweat and Tears perfectly, now you've been warned so get ready and know you're going to be wrecked by ALL the members, I am looking forward to your reaction, finally, to one of their overall best tracks. I am sure you will love it! 💜
@@YouandMe14 can't wait! Your reactions are so genuine and relatable. I was super busy this weekend but if work/time permits I'll be joining you on Patreon soon, I also want to see what is happening over there 💜
the way this broke hanna just makes me think about the 2016 MAMA performance. after watching blood sweat and tears, that performance is a MUST (even if you don't post it here, watch it by yourself, it's worth it - although i really wanna see your reaction!!)
Omg after you watch this and the blood sweat and tears watch their MAMA 2016 live performance its bomb (they also won their 2nd daesang or grand prize there which is artist of the year and now they have like 51 and still counting )
Hobi is simply amazing he was born to dance and perform. Love your reactions as always. After Blood Sweat Tears can you please please please react to the Wings Tour Trailer a lot of people skip it on accident but it 100% wraps up the BU and Wings concepts and is a literal work of ART. FYI if you want to really delve deep the Wings concert VCR's are also heavily BU. 🥰💜
Loved your reaction! Wings Era is my most favorite ever in the history of BTS. Love absolutely everything about it and I got to know them around those times, maybe thats the reason as well. I feel you, as JHope made me fall in love with him since this trailer and you haven't even watched his Mama performance yet))) Its impossible not to fall in love with this trailer cause it is absolutely perfect (you already got the explanation about trailers in some previous comments). And my interpretation of Boy Meets Evil was of his inner struggle, such as temptation, lust, greed. If to take lyrics personally then it could be sinful love or something similar, if metaphorically- could be greed for fame and struggle between success and his wish for his normal life while understanding that he cant have both. Especially they were becoming grown men and also started getting bigger recognition at those times which caused some struggles for sure. Also as RM states that the sin was not specific, we may take it as a group of his different struggles and not just one. Anyway, he stays in the dark which makes me think that though he understands his "sin" he still stays with it for that time. So the understanding came, but he didn't fight it. Though it is my own interpretation cause I think that however good the storyline is, but all their songs are still mostly about them and their experiences (at least partly). Anyway the only person who knows the exact interpretation is the artist and we can only guess and enjoy the performance)) When you listen to Hobis interviews, you realize that though he seems to be so bright and cheerful from outside, he is very deep and rather doubtful person. He wanted to quit more than once by his own words and I am sure he had his reasons. Maybe thats why he portrays his struggle with a "sin" so perfect in this trailer. IfBoy Meets Evil was to come out now, it was to become 100 times more popular as it was at those times! It really deserves a big recognition. Thank you
@@YouandMe14 thanks) the only problem with this trailer for me is that it is too short. ) Here are few links for you: one were JHope performs this dance live at SMA- it was epic! second- with both JHope and Jimin performing together to this song at MAMA and last clip of BTS members personal reaction to this clip)) You don't need to react to them cause they are very short, but have a look just to enjoy once more but in real live and to see how they support each other)) th-cam.com/video/ByTBxYL10r4/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/PYRiohUv-9Y/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/K6B7lvskAJA/w-d-xo.html
I think it's the best reaction to boy meet evil that i've ever seen 😭 i love this song so much, i needed so much time to recovered after i watched this about 8 months ago.. i'm glad you survived this 😁
Hi Hanna, I'm really enjoying your reactions. I've been a BTS fan for a short time only, since Dynamite, and have been doing a lot of catching up. J-Hope is my bias too so I really liked this reaction to Boy meets Evil. I appreciate how analytic and balanced you are in your comments. It's nice to take part in your ride. I'm looking forward to Blood, Sweat and Tears, All I can say is: prepare some breathing salts and get ready to watch it on repeat, because that's the effect it had on me, especially since I watched it before knowing the storyline and, apart from the emotional impact, it took me a long while to make sense of it. I'm sure you'll love it. Congrats on your channel.
I loved how you analysed this beautiful video. You should definitely check out j-hope rehearsing and practicing it and doing it live for all the Wings tour concerts but atleast definitely the SMA solo performance where it was literally just him on the stage. it was iconic!
Yeah, the "evil/devil" is open to interpretation. You can associate it with temptation and desire (especially if you wanna view it compared to original sin and that evil) and sorta how temptation, desire and greed can take ahold of you 'cause of how sweet it tastes and what it ends up doing to you as a part of growing up and that metamorphosis. This is the first "comeback trailer" BTS did, where the trailers are videos that lead to the title track/albums. It's separate from the other Wings short films cuz this song really leads into Blood Sweat and Tears, using J-Hope to emphasize the tone, aesthetics, style and message BTS wants to convey for this era/comeback (like with Serendipity for DNA or Singularity for Fake Love). So it's a "trailer/preview" in that sense. You can see it as a part of the storyline in a way of using J-Hope to steer the group's direction rather than his own specific journey (but that's open to personal interpretation and taste). Wings Era still dominates for a lot of people. There's also a Hope On The Street of him practicing this. And I'm sure you've been recommended the 2016 MAMA performance 'cause that's well... crazemazing.
Yes that makes a lot of sense to me with it being something to set the tone for the upcoming album. I struggled to see how this fit into J-Hoped narrative in the Storyline and I guess the answer is that it doesn’t, also as it‘s not official BU content. 👍🏻
HEAR ME OUT. Hoseok and Jimin are your biases. This performance wrecked you. What will the MAMA performance of Boy Meets Evil WITH ONLY THE BOTH OF THEM do to you? MAMA 2016. performance is the perfect thing to react to. Even if you don’t react to it, please do watch it, it’s a masterpiece like no other. (Jimin has a little surprise there for Boy meets Evil and Taehyung and Jin have a little surprise during the Blood, Sweat and Tears portion). I think it would make the greatest reaction video so consider it if you ever do take recommendations into count again :’)) This sounded like an advertisement
This is why jhope and jimin became my bias wreckers. I'm sure she'd love it. I'd love seeing you react to it, but if you can't that's fine. What matters is that you watch it, I promise you won't regret it.

@@YouandMe14 *it's my pleasure hanna always* 💜🌟 keep on shining and growing💜🌟✨ eagerly waiting for your reaction to *BS&T* excitement is on another level 💯🔥
Boy Meets Evil was my first BTS song. I thought to myself - oh, he's definitely my bias! No one else in the group could be this good! Little did I know they would wreck me one by one until, after feeling guilty for cheating, I helplessly accepted the OT7 lifestyle!
At one time, Hope was one of the most underappreciated members of the group. On social media, he was called ugly, and there was even a small movement trending to get him to quit. He once did a solo live stream and fans kept asking where was Jimin, so he got upset, put the camera in Jimin's room and left HIS OWN STREAM! Boy Meets Evil was the first time our sunshine got his own shine in the spotlight. And yes, I was waiting for you to react to that kick 😎
About the “solo” live stream, is this the V-live in Tokyo (August 13, 2016)? After watching it, it looks like j-hope asked the viewers which member they wanted to see, and most said Jimin, so he went to Jimin’s room. I didn’t see Hobi upset at all. It felt intentional. The title of the Vlive is “BTS Live in Tokyo,” not “j-hope Vlive” so I don’t think there’s any issue at all. Link to Vlive here: www.vlive.tv/video/12380 As Hobi-biased, I do agree it’s terrible when no one gave him letters, people called him ugly and called him to quit.
@@YouandMe14 I personally don't understand why ppl continue these petty talks about something that happened ages ago before they even debuted and were so young. I personally think JHope himself would not want ppl to remember these times. Also they all got hate from time to time by anti armies (Jimin as well as RM) Also it is not true he was not famous, he was the main dancer from the beginning and was already loved before this trailer came out. It is just that some members (like Jimin, V and JK) are more popular than the older once, especially with the young fans. But it does not mean that other members don't get love enough from their fans. You don't have to go for quantity but for quality unless its business)) I know for sure that Hobis fans are very devoted to anything he does, so lets stay positive as JHope. Haters will still exist especially for such big artists!
During their trainee period up till they first debuted, people were not yet familiar with the name 'Bangtan Sonyeondan'.. they were called 'the group with Jung Hoseok' 😎
I'm just asking Why do people tell others about this? Why focus on J-Hope? Although most of the members have been described by this Do they want people to have pity on him?! Or is it a letter For the subconscious? Until he starts thinking this way about him!!! Anyway people who saw J-Hope in real life They said :- J-Hope is very handsome The camera doesn't do justice to Hobi's beauty Charisma J-Hope is indescribable matter who your bias is, you always leave a BTS concert as a J-hope stan. This man is literally perfection inside and out!
Thank you for the amazing reaction .. To me this entire era represents internal struggles specially after reading Demian .. but it could also be interpreted in many other ways..
OMG YES YES YES BOY MEETS EVIL THIS MV BROKE ME SENT ME TO HELL & THEN REVIVED ME JUST TO KILL ME AGAIN BC JUNG FREAKING HOSEOK??????? Just everything about this mv, the song, the lyrics, the beats, j-hope, his dance, his expressions, just pure art as u said. he was so fully immersed in doing this dance with the utmost expressiveness I've ever seen on him ngl just imagine armys who went to their WINGS Tour in 2017 got to see this live. I am so jealousss loving ur theories & how u try ur best to connect everything, really good at recognizing stuff & connecting it too. now, I'm warning u girl, prepare ur heart, body, mind, soul & everything for blood, sweat & tears cos its dangerous. very very dangerous, can't wait to see u freak out 😂 also, just extra info: the whole concept of this "boy meets evil" & the whole wings era is is based on "innocence losing to temptation" as u grow up. cos like y'know in hyyh they were youth & now they're transitioning into the adult phase so being tempted......yeah. ps: you're really gonna love MAMA 2016 live performance. 😉 j-hope & jimin both kill it in that. I'm not gonna spoil it by saying anything more if u wanna watch it :) just make sure to watch it full in order cos I think there's 2 parts to it or smth & tae & jin have a surprise too 😘
once you discover HOBI and HYUNG LINE for that matter, YOU ARE OVER, YOU CANT GO BACK HOBI is such a performer i cant even start, he gets better every time, i am wondering how better he is for the next
@@bhumikagopal8940 I think it depends on your personality or tastes what is what first "hooks" you, and that also puts you in touch with people attracted to different members. I got attracted first to the lyrics (starting from the voice of Hobi's Airplane, the lyrics on his mixtape to try to understand what was going on and then falling from there) so I followed first lyrics analysis/translation accounts so I originally saw more people who was attracted at first by the rap line. But other people might get hooked by other ways and see first more people attracted to the "social network visual magnets" (the maknaes and Jin).
@@MarinaEariel yes I totally agree, lyrics is first for me too, I am an Ot7 bias so you can tell by that. I was also biased to the vocal line initally, but once I came to see their raps, it had so much meaning, so much deeper. Not knowing much about rapping, I started exploring more rap songs of theirs and now in obsessed And as you said it's in the people's eyes
This gives more of an insight to blood sweat and tears than the storyline. It is a good intro to what's to come in blood sweat and tears. Also the book will give you an idea I think (haven't read it yet, but the explanations gave me an idea). It is both someone else and an inner struggle of finding lust, greed, sin etc for the first time, which is part of liking someone sometimes. Am I making sense? Idk😅
I know people have already suggested it, but you REALLY need to check out the live performance of this where he's dancing with Jimin.....OMGaaahhhh!!!! Personal opinion: Someone needs to let Hobi choreo a full Broadway musical ASAP!
One of the interpretations can be the darker side of fame? Sweet but bad at the long run? I always associated it to this. Jhope is my bias and I can totally relate to your reaction 😂💜
Yeah, I also considered this. Like I said, it could be talking about fame or greed as well, but I guess the talk about lips distracted me into thinking it was about being tempted by a person that is ultimately bad for you. But the interpretation of it being an internal struggle against temptations for many things while growing up make sense to me .
One thing to remember Wings was based on Hermann Hesse's novel Demian. Once you watch Blood Sweat and Tears we will explain more about the novel. Being the comeback trailer means it's more connected to the WHOLE not only his story. They added the color smears I'm guessing to add a bit of his story to it but usually comeback trailers are introducing the concept of the album.
I agree, I think his stage persona is very attractive but then there are these quiet/serious moments on camera sometimes that make me realize that there’s much more to him than initially meets the eye. I like this duality very much, too.
Hi ! Are you ok after this "Hobi special" ?! Because yes it's something !! You can see the extent of his talent as a choreographer and dancer, and singer as well even if in the mv he doesn't sing while performing. If you want it exists rehearsal videos of this mv and a live stage where him and Jimin dance in parallel (not the full song but it's incredible !) BTS has explored Greek mythology and Jungian litterature for part of the BU. The shorts films from wings are the boys parallel lives, while Blood sweat& tears and Boy meets evil are more on the Hesse's "Demian" explanatory side...Idk if I can make sense, there is the content (philosophy, psychology, underlining story) and the container which are their parallel lives (life-like examples of what is meant). How we grow from youth to adulthood. Much love !!(I can't wait for BS&T bc there are so many art/mythology/philosophy references in it and even 1 German sentence written on a wall ;) ) sorry it's my favorite!
Comeback Trailer are first before new album. So before we saw short films and Blood sweat and tears it was this one that was first. We didn't know Hobi film yet. But it is great Intro in this album and lead to Blood sweat and tears.
After you check out full versions of the Wings solo songs, please have a look at 2016 MAMA performance where Jimin and Jhope have a duet to this song, it's iconic😳
You should watch BTS (방탄소년단) 2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR Trailer as a part of Wings era. Not so many people react to it, but it's totally worth to watch.
I always thought at "I sharpened my knife of poisonous ambition", the choreography makes me think it's like he is eating something, taking something into his body as payment for that poisonous ambition that this sweet evil is granting him, maybe.. all throughout there's alot of movements allluding to ingesting something, and it's sooooo gOOD!! I remember this was one of the things that just had me selling my soul to BTS and to J-Hope specifically. Just. *Fuuuuuck* he is so good Also the shirt makes me think of the shirts he and Jimin wear in the shortfilms, like it's a uniform/nightclothes because they are in an insane asylum.
so I'll try to explain what comeback trailers are in case you don't already know. Usually, before a bts comeback (around 1 month before) they release a comeback trailer. Comeback trailers are always a solo song by one of the members. Comeback trailer songs usually portray the theme of the album in the song. Wings album is about temptation thus boy meets evil is also based around that. Which member is chosen to do this changes between each comebacks. For example love yourself series started with LY her album, the comeback trailer was Serendipity (jimin solo), then the standalone Euphoria(jk solo), Love yourself Tear had singularity (V solo) and Love yourself Answer had Epiphany ( jin solo) each song is based around the theme of the album. After the love yourself trilogy we had map of the soul persona. Which had persona comeback trailer ( RM solo) then for MOTS 7 we had two comeback trailers (Shadow- Suga and Ego- Jhope) because the album was supposed to be two separate albums but then was decided to combine them into one. I said all this to explain that there isn't any specific reason jhope has two solo songs in the album other than the theme they had in mind obviously suiting jhope and it being a system where one member gets a solo song in each album even if the album otherwise doesn't have any solo songs. wings however was an album which had a solo song from every member anyway because that was the theme of the album so hobi ended up getting two solo songs in wings. So rather than it being about hobi's story, its supposed to basically act as a trailer for the album since it's based around the theme of the album as a whole. also, just wanted to add that it went full circle with jhope doing boy meets evil and after that, every single member did a solo comeback trailer with hobi doing the last comeback trailer which was ego. It is likely that when they do the next comeback trailer, it'll be a jimin solo since he's the one who comes next in the list for the comeback trailer. I hope I didn't make things too complicated and info dump you lol.
j-hope got the intro because for all the previous albums before wings it was only RM and suga and they had lots of intros individually. This era was the era they experimented a lot for, first intro to be so connected with the storyline and have a member in it and even dancing. The next one will probably be Jimin actually because there is an order and the music trailers get released based on that order of RM, Suga, j-hope, jimin, V, Jungkook then Jin.
@@chrollolucifer8962 actually yeah you are right. I messed up the order. it should be jimin next. sometimes I forget euphoria came out after serendipity since it was standalone. also, I understand the order with RM and Suga doing the intros for a while but that's exactly why I didn't choose that as the order. because it went on for more than once. so I used jhope as the starting point of that change you are talking about. but yeah i guess it does make sense to start from RM. however shouldn't jk be after jimin and not V? If i remember correctly, euphoria was before singularity. (euphoria MV came out before LY: tear even though euphoria song was only included in Answer album)
I am going to be honest. Jhope caught my attention towards the end of exploring bangTan. BUT.. I fell for him so hard. Jimin is my bias and Jhope is my bias wrecker since long now.
There’s something mesmerizing about Hobi losing himself in dance like this, he truly was born to perform
he’s dangerous when he’s in his element 🥵😌
JUNG HOSEOK IS A DANGEROUS MAN !! The amount of charisma and talent in just one person !!
Girl I can't blame you
J-hope. His name is enough to get goosebumps.
Remember when we freaked out because of Jhope's abs 😂😂 That screenshot went viral lol.
yeah) cause unlike some others he never shows them which is a sin in itself(((
Even a non Hobi bias is Hobi wrecked every time he moves
The look of adoration on your face says it all! You’re absolutely correct when you say how multi-faceted J Hope is. He is the Hope diamond 2.0! Just another example of why Suga explains their performances as “integrated content” which is spot-on. Another great reaction....apologies for enjoying seeing you so shook lol!
I love how jhope is getting more love because I see a lot youtubers was jhope bias ❤️

Girl, jhope literally said that BREATH - but he choked his own neck! --- is TOO EVIL 😈
I just remembered all the "Jhope is a dom/sadistic" compilation videos and something about this is so attractive to me haha !! 😈

@Rue Did not know those existed, but now that I think about it, it makes perfect sense. Searching now...😅
It's impossible not to be mesmerized by J-Hope when he dances like this. He's so expressive with his moves and has so much control over his body... And his body rolls kill me everytime. Like you, he's one of my biases but, here, he bias wrecks me x) I agree when you say he's a born performer ! And I will forever be grateful to be able to watch him perform.
It's not always easy being Hobi biased, trust me 😆 I experience that every day. But we can't help but love it 🤓💜
The way j-hope move his body is so mesmerizing he make us understand and feel the music
Same here)
exactly this!
Literally same
yes this! 😩
Being bias wrecked by your own bias! 🤣
I have so much RESPECT for Hobi's talent! Unparalleled!
he wrote and composed the song (obvs with help), he danced, rap and sing it AND perform it live. NO ONE DOES IT LIKE HIM!!
If he wasn't already my bias first time I saw this video, he would have been after. This man is absolutly stunning, mesmerizing and dangerous! 🤯😈
Biblical is such a great way to put it. I've always seen it was a struggle between good and evil. J-Hope in his element is just otherworldly. Love the reaction as always, you always make me smile. 💜
Hobi is the most unique boy
So attractive so Passionate dancer

LOL, I said "I just can't" a second before you said "I can't." Love, love, love this one. One of the overarching themes of this era is temptation and Hobi is the real temptation here. 🔥💜

PLS NOONE question Hobi's dancing ability. THIS WAS INSANE!! Also looking forward to your reaction to BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS> GIRLLL
I absolutely love your reaction/analysis. J-Hope when he dance is simply mesmerising. The way he moves, his expressions, his voice .. everything about him draws you in 💜💜
You need to see the live performance of this! Hobi's duality please 😍
Literally boy meets evil is one of the most legendary mvs i've ever seen , The song is amazing the choreo is perfect.. I was waiting for you to react to this ❤️
yep, and the most underrated one if to judge by views (( it was to be so much more famous now)
Hiya, so the wings short films, the songs were each of their solos on the album, but each album also has an intro song which is usually a solo track, for wings it was Hobi's turn.
I interperated the lyrics to this as personifying temptation rather than talking about a person.
Loved the vid, seeing you shook by Hobi was really fun 💜
This is mesmerizing! A masterpiece! The dancing and the expression is everything! I never seen someone this expressive and his body control is insane 😍
Your reaction is so good, i love it so much, i don't know how many times i've come back here, it's so good 😭
Much love for you Hanna 💜
As always, I absolutely adore your commentary and the thoughtful insights you offer! Your reaction is by far one of the most insightful reactions I have seen of Boy Meets Evil. You always have such interesting observations and commentary, which I find adds another element to the video and leaves viewers with something to ponder. 💜
One of my favourite things about this performance is how splendidly Hoseok was able to express the story of the lyrics through his dance.
@@YouandMe14 Haha, I can definitely relate to that! 🤣 There's certainly something very... "tempting" about his dance during that part 😝😉💜
He is absolutely amazing isn’t he, so talented ⭐️⭐️. Love your reactions🧡
Thank you for your reaction, J Hope it's just love, he's beautiful❤️
Boy Meets Evil is the comeback trailer for their album Wings ( intro song )
Also, this era was inspired by Hermann Hesse's book "Demian" in wich tempation also plays a big role💜 I really hope this was helpful.
i was looking for this comment! 🔥💜
So I'm going to subscribe to your channel.
as a hobi bias myself this performance he wrecked me even if he is my bias he's such a great dancer
5:09 oh hos my bias to☺️💜❤️and this react is so perfect🌸i purple you💜
First: Gosh, loved every piece of the video. I'm glad you finally watched this.
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Second your interpretation of a "boy getting into sin, struggling, then embracing it, and kind of looking for mercy at the end (the pose you said was almost biblical) is not far fetched.
Yes! Thanks for mentioning his voice! I was so mesmerized by the dancing, that I didn’t say much about his voice. It‘s such a perfect combination!
You are right, this was art. I've been saying this for years, BME MV (the production, music, lyrics, choreo and j-hope's performance) is art.
the way this broke hanna just makes me think about the 2016 MAMA performance. after watching blood sweat and tears, that performance is a MUST (even if you don't post it here, watch it by yourself, it's worth it - although i really wanna see your reaction!!)

Hobi was possessed here. No other explanation. If you have time please do check out this dance practice. Hobi worked too hard for it.
That was absolutely my favorite reaction to this EVER! Also, really relatable haha he's just perfect
Thank you
I really like your interpretation!

j-hope is also my bias and BME is a masterpiece!
9:27 what a pause damn
I think it would make the greatest reaction video so consider it if you ever do take recommendations into count again :’))

Boy Meets Evil was my first BTS song. I thought to myself - oh, he's definitely my bias! No one else in the group could be this good! Little did I know they would wreck me one by one until, after feeling guilty for cheating, I helplessly accepted the OT7 lifestyle!
I loved your reaction! And I knew you were gonna love this one for sure!👏🏻💜Great interpretation as well! You're nice, keep going!💜
aaah wait until you see theboy meets evil/lie performance hobi and jimin did, it's fantastic
Really?! 😳 I honestly can‘t picture or believe that with his looks and talent. People are weird
Link to Vlive here: www.vlive.tv/video/12380
As Hobi-biased, I do agree it’s terrible when no one gave him letters, people called him ugly and called him to quit.
Although most of the members have been described by this
Do they want people to have pity on him?!
Or is it a letter For the subconscious?
Until he starts thinking this way about him!!!
Anyway people who saw J-Hope in real life
They said :- J-Hope is very handsome The camera doesn't do justice to Hobi's beauty
Charisma J-Hope is indescribable
matter who your bias is, you always leave a BTS concert as a J-hope stan. This man is literally perfection inside and out!

Just everything about this mv, the song, the lyrics, the beats, j-hope, his dance, his expressions, just pure art as u said. he was so fully immersed in doing this dance with the utmost expressiveness I've ever seen on him ngl
just imagine armys who went to their WINGS Tour in 2017 got to see this live. I am so jealousss

now, I'm warning u girl, prepare ur heart, body, mind, soul & everything for blood, sweat & tears cos its dangerous. very very dangerous, can't wait to see u freak out 😂
also, just extra info: the whole concept of this "boy meets evil" & the whole wings era is is based on "innocence losing to temptation" as u grow up. cos like y'know in hyyh they were youth & now they're transitioning into the adult phase so being tempted......yeah.
ps: you're really gonna love MAMA 2016 live performance. 😉 j-hope & jimin both kill it in that. I'm not gonna spoil it by saying anything more if u wanna watch it :) just make sure to watch it full in order cos I think there's 2 parts to it or smth & tae & jin have a surprise too 😘
once you discover HOBI and HYUNG LINE for that matter, YOU ARE OVER, YOU CANT GO BACK
HOBI is such a performer i cant even start, he gets better every time, i am wondering how better he is for the next
no not really, most people i know in real life are only interested in hyung line especially rap line
@@chrollolucifer8962 oh, but most people i know love the maknae line, maybe its different my bad🤷🏾♀️💜
Not knowing much about rapping, I started exploring more rap songs of theirs and now in obsessed
And as you said it's in the people's eyes
Love your reaction💜
This gives more of an insight to blood sweat and tears than the storyline. It is a good intro to what's to come in blood sweat and tears.
Also the book will give you an idea I think (haven't read it yet, but the explanations gave me an idea). It is both someone else and an inner struggle of finding lust, greed, sin etc for the first time, which is part of liking someone sometimes. Am I making sense? Idk😅
Comeback trailers are which explains the theme and concepts of that complete album. Each has their own comeback trailers.
🥵🥵🥵 hibi is not my bias but yeah, i can totally relate aaaahh! Jhooooooope!!!
I know people have already suggested it, but you REALLY need to check out the live performance of this where he's dancing with Jimin.....OMGaaahhhh!!!! Personal opinion: Someone needs to let Hobi choreo a full Broadway musical ASAP!
I am all for Broadway musical!!!!!!
I just find ur channel new and I like ur reaction💜💜💜😍😍
Sometimes I really wonder if the stage J-hope and normal life hobi is the same person:) maybe this is also something made him so attarctive.
I agree, I think his stage persona is very attractive but then there are these quiet/serious moments on camera sometimes that make me realize that there’s much more to him than initially meets the eye. I like this duality very much, too.
my hobi is the best💕
Please react mama 2016 performance!!
JHope is also my bias & Jin is my bias wrecker both of them are like seasaw with me...lol seesaw➡Suga
Can't Wait to see Your Reaction to "BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS"😍
Just. *Fuuuuuck* he is so good
Also the shirt makes me think of the shirts he and Jimin wear in the shortfilms, like it's a uniform/nightclothes because they are in an insane asylum.
so I'll try to explain what comeback trailers are in case you don't already know.
What a great explanation 👏
j-hope got the intro because for all the previous albums before wings it was only RM and suga and they had lots of intros individually.
Perfect explanation, thank you! 😊
The way they make the concepts so confusing at the same time so deep, they are called idols for a reason man.
Ahhh you stopped the video at a perfect moment 😁
You should watch, the live performance of boy meet evil he did with Jimin at an award show I'm sure you'll love it !!
*KING HOPE*
Pls react to dope+fire+silverspoon+run live pleaseee🙏🙏🙏
I am going to be honest. Jhope caught my attention towards the end of exploring bangTan. BUT.. I fell for him so hard. Jimin is my bias and Jhope is my bias wrecker since long now.
