    - Universally suitable for all types of blades
    - Versatile in use with excellent manoeuvrability
    - Safe driving with high centres of gravity
    - Economical to run and maintain

As it's coming out of the warehouse, all I kept on thinking of was a magician pulling out handkerchiefs

Is that how long wind turbine blades actually are cuz that seems WAYYYYYYYYY bigger than when i see em when im driving.

There are a lot of different sizes/lengths. Many are "just" 40m long, some are 70m, and those tend to be the ones you see most on the streets (at least in Germany). But yeah, I occasionally meet one of the drivers who transports these _really_ big loads, and he'd just driven a 107m blade a couple of days ago (he'd also transported one the Ariane rocket stages some years back... _That_ is something I'm sooo envious of😊)

So it takes a diesel to help build a windmill with a shelf life of how long?

Takes more energy to make make one of these stupid things than they generate before needing a total overhaul.

A single wind turbine makes orders of magnitude more power than you would get if you just burned the fuel used in construction for power.

Exactly. That's one blade. The wind turbines have a life of 20-25 years then they're junked because you can't recycle them.

I get what you're saying, but wind turbine are normally set up far from civilization with no rail lines anywhere near them. But what you said reminds me of the Soviet space agency. NASA use these massive externally powered tracked platforms to move their rockets about, whereas the infinity more successful Soviets just loaded them onto a train 😂
