Thank you so much PANGOLIN WILDLIFE for this Beautiful and Informative Video. AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHY.. Very Talented Photographer, as the Essence of the Animals were Wonderfully, Skillfully Captured... I just recently SUBSCRIBED TO YOUR CHANNEL....THANKS ALSO FOR THE PRIVILEGE TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY & THE BEAUTIFUL, PRECIOUS ANIMALS.
You folks always seem to outdo yourself. This and Sabine’s earlier video are my favorites. I’ll bet you would be great instructors in learning video of wildlife too. I just can’t get enough of your material. Africa is a spiritual experience and you bring that all out in your videos. Great work.
My wife and I are going to Botswana in September. 11 nights Maun to Vic Falls. Watching this video makes me want to leave now! Fabulous photos and videos.
Make time to visit too...was glad to be a guest last November and I totally loved the experience in Kasane..im from Ghana and I am saving to do this again
Only one word .....SUPERB . What a pleasure to view. This only makes me want to get to Africa even more but will have to wait for a while unfortunately. Ek is baie jaloers maar ek sal by jullie eendag uitkom. Thanks for the memories!!
Hoping I don't get too decrepit before I get back! 2022 will be 4 years after an amazing week with you in 2018. Can I be that spoilt and privileged? Hope so! Every good wish to you for this Christmas season and the great team at the Chobe hotel - all the way from Melbourne, Oz
Fantastic, fantastic... thats all I can say... thank you so much for this movie. It makes it a little bit easier to accept, that it was impossible to come to Africa this year. Wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year...
Kiaora fellow Animal Kingdom Lovers. First of i would like to thank you for this wonderful insight into this unique ecosystem. Also did the pride Take down that Bull Elephant at the start of the doco?
Absolutely fabulous, more of these please, splendid photos and videos which are so sharp, what camera was used for the video and boy, so jealous of the truck.
Thanks Trevor. We do like to experiment more and more with video and obviously we are in the right place to do so. Glad you like the outcome ;) - Sabine
What an amazing video.... Those wild dogs jumping towards the leopard wooow. Interaction from the lions nearby the dead elephant was really nice. Overhaul very good video and photos. Thanks for sharing as bringing my photographic skills to a higher level just by following your movies. Great job!!
Kea Leboga to create such a wonderful video. Loved it!!!! Glad Wild dogs did not get to Leopard Cubs! Ohhh I cannot wait to be back in bush! Missing you all and game drives! What a beautiful video. Great job!!! Xoxo
@@PangolinWildlife Yes. what great shots. I was planning to come next year but due to COVID I'll have to postpone my trip due to the virus. But, can't wait to get there. Will keep you guys informed. Thanks
You four make such a great team. you work so well together and produce really good videos and incredible photographs. Amazing how many sightings you got on your trip. The leopard with her cub was a highlight. Thank you so much for doing these videos. Hope to see more of them.
Wow, amazing videos and photos. Would love to pay you guys a visit, but need to wait for the pandemic to be over. Question do take any kind of weapon to protect yourself?
Hi Cesar, we would love to welcome you in Botswana as soon as possible. Nope, no weapon required... matter of fact if you go into a National Park you do it on your own risk as the animals are king. If you stick to certain rules (e.g. don't walk up to the lion) it is very very safe... - Janine
Amazing. Thank you. Couple of questions. First I am assuming a lot of the footage was shot at 120 FPS. Yes? Can you provide some of the specs and gear that was used? Secondly there are several what appear to be drone shots. Can you tell me what the rules and requirements for flying a small drone (Dji Mavic Mini II) in Botswana and even in Kenya at the Great Migration? Thanks.
Hi Tia. Most of the video was taken on a 1Dx mk 2 body with various lenses. As to the drone shots you can only fly then in national reserves if you have a specific licence from that country. This footage was on private reserves where you still need a licence but flying with permission is allowed. Flying a drone in Kenya at the migration is a big no no as it can often spook the herds causing chaos.
@@PangolinWildlife Astonishing footage congratulations to the team. I hope to join the Pangolin team next year for a photo safari! I have a Canon80D to begin my learning experience. Could you please provide a brief guide to video settings or a helpful link. I’m already using Manual auto iso and back button focusing for stills on your wonderful advice
What a fantastic trip. Incredible encounters, great video footage, stunning photos..... well done gang, very jealous...... starting to plan a trip for 2022. Thanks for sharing !
This is absolutely brilliant! I can imagine being there with you with this kind of lifestyle documentary. OMG, if only I could afford to take that holiday...

With the rona still alive and well .. and subsequent waves and variants appearing it might be a while before we get back to Bots - thank you for keeping the dream alive
@bass & pickrel slayer yes Zebras often team up to keep watch in opposite directions like that. Its quite common. The elephant died of natural causes we believe. the tusks were in place and there was no sign of any violent struggle. with 100,000 elephants in Botswana, you see that more often through the year.
At the end of the film is a link to see all the amazing images that the team took on this trip. Enjoy! If you missed the last film, Into The Kalahari, here is the link: th-cam.com/video/1smikS7dHmg/w-d-xo.html
