I Love Namibia, the Kalahari and the Karoo. I have never been to Botswana, one of my great dreams. However, as a widow and Pensioner, I do not think this dream will ever be realised. With the COVID Pandemic I have lost my income as well. I am also in Tourism and have 2 Self-catering cabins, that was and is my only income. So I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, for sharing this video. At least I can imagine I am there while doing a virtual tour with you. Enjoy every second and know how Blessed you guys are to be able to do this. Stay safe and keep them coming!

What a delight to again view some of the activity happening on the Chobe River. Phenyo, the young Captain was just in training last Nov. 2019 and we had some interesting conversations about camera equipment. I was using professional Nikon gear which he seemed to be impressed with, as well he spoke of one day maybe being able to acquire his own personal professional gear. With the photo experiences available it would be a shame if he didn't progress to become a world renown wildlife photographer. It was a pleasure watching this video and to see that young man's smile again. Just as I remember him during our short visit on the Chobe River photographing together.

You guys should have used a 24-70 or 70-200 for large mammals, particularly to include the environment. That elephant scene would have been a perfect example. Although you'll surely get more chances...

OMG you have brought tears to my eyes. I didn't realize how much I miss the Chobe and Africa until seeing this video. I should be packing for departure but alas.... not meant to be. And, as Buddy said, I too am jealous that you have that glorious river to yourselves! Enjoy the tranquility and will be there soonest

I just cant wait till we can again be on the river with you guys. We were booked for this year and are devastated it all fell apart. As soon as we get word we will be there. Phenyo our great mate, made our stay very special.

Amazing cant wait for travelling times again. Was in Tanzania and Kenya last year following the Wildebeest migration which was the most amazing experience of my life. I found you guys by chance. I've always wanted to go to Africa and have looked at other photo safaris before. Yours actually look worth the price. It's become a goal of mine and feel much more attainable now that I've found something specific. Maybe in 2 years I will have saved up enough to go. Hoping you guys will keep having your Best of Chobe budget safari option available.
Hi Gabriella. Glad you found us. Of course we will have budget options available always. Most of our clients don't want 5 star luxury but rather more time in the bush to get more shots for the same price.
Great to see you back out on the river, with the amazing wildlife on the Chobe. I actually had tears in my eyes watching this. I am sad we had to postpone our trip, but at the same time so happy to see you out there, and I'm learning more about photography each week. Thank you for sharing and keeping the dream in my heart. @@PangolinWildlife I really like the videos that show the animals you get to see on one of your safaris, but would love to watch one where you follow a group during their stay on a Pangolin Safari.
I’d just love to know what it must be like staying at that incredible hotel or riding on the river boat during one of the drives, or staying on the house boat.
Your safaris look incredible & meticulously planned & organised & I love the gimbals on the boats.
I’m never going to be able to afford one of your safaris, but I would love to watch someone who can & be able to see the excitement in their face when they see an elephant up close or experience something for the first time.
I loved the images that you guys managed to take during your outing especially the elephant close ups.

We always say that the best camera is the one you have in your hand. Canon make very good cameras throughout their range.

Why were you not allowed on the river before??
Hi Hugh. the river is the border between Namibia and Botswana and was out of bounds for a few months during lockdown. Delighted to say that is no longer the case.
What's your airport code when booking flight ticket?

2008, at the lodge in the park. Both land cruiser and boat trips. My wife is not an animal person but was in love with wildlife, especially the elephants that were almost close enough to touch. Would love to return. I have recommended Chobe to many people. Can’t go wrong with Chobe. Also went to Etali in SA. Luckily, other places too!
