I'd call that an iceberg rock! Moved lots and travelled short including wheelies in Bubba Dump. Jerry's has a goal and gets it done - no fooling around with the 'old timer' - (love ya Jerry).

An hour of perfection, well from Jerry at least 🤣 It is all the moving plant to and from jobs that not many people realise how long it can take, even if it is local. Good soil placement with Bubba, wouldn't take much pushing around, Matt left some piles to play with, Minatour for the win !!! 💪💪💪

In the time that I've watched this channel, you have done a fantastic job of adding equipment and capability. I've had a couple of employees that always came up with the "What you really need to get" routine. But then it wasn't their money doing the "getting". There is always something else that you could use but you can't have everything.

Loved seeing the Green Dragon come to life at the start, the exhausts looked familiar. When you were hauling dirt with Bubba Dump I was thinking to myself that, that would be an ideal job for Lt Dan. Really like watching Jerry at work, he controls that doser so well, its like he was using a hand trowel. And I'm not going to even discuss the Case, for fear of getting too exited! Having worked as and with contractors no matter how large or small for most of my working life, it still amazes me how many people don't realise, the effort it takes place to get the right equipment to the right place to start a job.
The Case is a totally impressive machine. If it pushes as much as the D4, I’m sure you’re now thinking hard on ROI. It’s basically 2 machines in one, and a lot easier to move to the jobsite. It would be a handy addition to the fleet. Thanks for sharing DP!

Looking at the lay of the land, have ya’ll ever considered a large land plane. As a kid working on a farm in California we used a Marvin 16 X 60 to grade thousands of acres (primarily to help with irrigation). I see all the undulations in the land your working on and it seems like a large land plane would help - just a thought?
The Case just impresses the socks off of me. Seems to be a pretty decent for a multi function machine, and the dozer part with C frame coupled with steel tracks is what’s making it work. Fun series to watch, thanks for the ride along.
Great video! Good to see the whole aspect of excavating. Most folks don't have a clue how much time it takes just to move in and out on a job, plus it's the most dangerous part of excavating. For Mat. Where I worked previously they had 3 963D track loaders all bought new at the same time with close serial numbers, all were identical in setup. Each had own unique feel. Every piece of equipment I've been on has a different feel from something in its class.
That Minotaur sure is interesting ... similar specs to D4 so was pleased to hear you say pushed as much as the D4 ... blade looks smaller especially in height. Area maybe 7-8 acres ... thanks for making time to take , edit and post good videos🙂🙂

I watched letsdig18 and Chris working that 550 Volvo with the monster bucket, 3 scoops and the haul truck was full. He could've had 3 haul trucks going. That's alot of dirt!

The Minotaur is one very capable machine with the power to push a large amount off dirt and that’s without the usability of all the attachments that you can put into one machine. A real Heinz 59 machine, got a job and it says “how do you want it done and with what implement”, definitely a viable machine cutting running costs of at least two machines in one
On the subject of Buckets, Chris's (LetsDig18) Volvo 550E "rental" is quite impressive ... 5+ yard bucket ... 3 scoops and the haul truck is full (almost 30 tons). But like you said, point of diminishing returns ... you're fine IMHO ... the 550 titers a bit with that huge bucket !!! And yeah, Case has a real winner there ... amazing in such a compact footprint ... and for hauling ~ get out of here easy !
Chris said the 550 has a long boom and with the 1000 pounds of the quick coupler and a bucket that really a bit too large it can get a bit tippy. If you are ready for it thats fine but a little bit of a toe curler the first time.

Since Jerry started running the 850J he is super glued to that seat. If you feed him and give him a sleeping bag he doesn’t get out any more.
Making useable ground out of a mess. Takes time but lasts forever. Jerry is one of the guys you can't replace. What a worker.

In equipment, a jack of all trades is usually a master of none.
There was a comment from someone that the Case is really expensive. Mike already owns the D4, has a skidsteer that he really likes and the 120.
