What I don't understand is why Australia isn't heavily investing in Wind, and especially Solar, and using your inexhaustible access to renewable energy for developing this overabundance of iron ore? Instead of shipping ore, your country is perfectly situated to manufacture the finished product. Steel... not to mention the other metals and minerals that could be refined with abundant "free" energy. After addressing these potential cash farms, supplying the rest of Australia's energy needs, some underwater cables could supply additional income from supplying electricity to much of Indonesia.., much like Morocco is doing with the UK...

  • @gavinperry7237

How do you deal with the iron ore getting wet during cyclones and affecting the stability of the product as it is shipped across the ocean ?

How much of the profit is reinvested back into Australia, apart from the employment, facilities, railway and worker accommodations? Keep seeing fantastic amounts of money being made, but I wondered how much of that trickles down to the ordinary Australian citizen and Australia's infrastructure in general?

In the past, the British would get raw material from their colonies, use them to manufacture finished products which were then shipped back to the colonies. China has assumed that role today and is the new colonial master of not only Australia, but the west in general.

why is this content from 2013? what could have possibly taken you 7 years to produce this mediocre video? It just doesn't make any sense that it should take this long for something to have made its way from recording to production. Literally at 6 minutes in the guy is talking about 2010-11 figures, 2012 figures, and 2013 expectations. This is absolutely unacceptable that you've taken so long to sit on this content before publishing it.
