To be fair they almost got there on making it at least a mild suprise with how much Jericho was working on twitter, even though people had a suspicion, it wasn't really set in stone until he was spotted at the airport.

@kvader what i would of done with his return was that Cm Punk vs Dolph Ziggler was the main event and then like 7 mins into the match and Punk and Ziggler are getting up from a suplex from the top rope and the promo comes on and the boy says he is here,NOW! and the match continues and Cm Punk hits Ziggler with a GTS like 2 mins later and the lights go off for 10 seconds and then BREAK THE WALLS DOWN which will make Punk win the match due to DQ.

Wrong.. the BEST return in history.. it just turned out bad since WWE didn't stick to his return gimmick which kinda screwed it up. Still, it was his best and most creative return
