Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint series is a masterpiece. Literally the only Korean web novel series I was actually able to finish and kept my attention throughout.
Sorry I have read the Light Novel of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint and I must say that in the first chapters the emphasis on how much he likes reading the web novel is very very VERY important as it is literally the base of the whole story later on.. I guess you’ll understand with time when the they release the (around) 200th chapter of the manhwa.
Fr fr, but I wished in the manwha the tennent guy had a oldboy hair style and was skinnier though, that was my imagination. And I always had Anna on the pettier side (small) a bigger contrast to yoo joonghyuk to show how in the new world status is more important then appearances. Of coarse complaining about my imagination not being true is pretty rude but that's my version of omniscient reader a version where Kim dokja wakes up to his smiling family all tucked under one big house.
You should read “I will die soon” basically the mc kills himself and wrote a will that made death seem obsolete so the embodiment of death takes him and kills him 13 times and each time he gets killed again he experiences life as another person that will die soon after he inherits the body but if he can somehow avoid the death he can keep the body and live again. It’s a pretty emotional story and we get to watch the mc go through all these different lives and form/ lose relationships and close friends.
I read the LN up to 440+ but i initially found it frustrating cause they changed the translator midway and the lack of development of the characters when kim dokja ain't there

I am almost finished with the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (16:55) novel (I am on chapter 500 out of 551. It's pretty long). It is easily one of the best books I have ever read. It has an amazingly written story and world, and tons of very interesting characters. By far my favorite story of recent years. So far the webtoon has been following the novel accurately, and the art is beautiful.
It also has the God of blackfield kinda feel super badass it’s a cultivation story but he gets brought back to modern time and the story focuses more on character development and plot instead of them focusing on the character “cultivating” and such give it a try before throwing it off with the other trash cultivation story’s
Nathan Terrelonge-Tillery nothing too exciting, from the first ten chapters he stands up for a kid from some gangsters, and drinks coke with a kid at the hospital. He barely had any dialogue. The side characters have had more screen time than the mc. If 1/5 of the manhwa sucks(50 something chapters out) it prob all sucks.
Nathan Terrelonge-Tillery it’s not flawed logic. If I can go through 10 chapters in less than 30 minutes. There’s a problem. I can get the same development I get in those ten chapters in the first 2 chapters of solo leveling and then some.
I loved FFF-Class Trashhero, it’s nice seeing tropes have the shit beat out of them. Really reminds me of Konosuba if Kazuma was a psychopath. First time he did something absolutely evil I got chills, add in the grins and smiles he makes and it’s beautiful to see a genre be reversed a full 180 degrees. Not just a anti hero like Naofumi but a full villain.
i don't know if he is a full vilain because first he got trasnported to another world and he was against it, second he had terribile compagnions who just use him and treat him like shit, and last but not least everything he is doing is perfectly rational he function like a IA everytime selectionoing the best option on short mid and long term not like (spoilers ahead) the second hero who is just a naive dumbass who can't even figuered out that the war with the elves was against him and from what we saw he come and have same values as ours like non racial discrimation but he does everything against it supporting a monarchy who have in leader a elf suprematist (sorry for my bad english not my first language)

I recommend the “Lookism” It’s such a fantastic story with some of the best character writing. It might have a rough start in terms of its art, as its definitely an acquired taste. But it just gets better and better. Highly recommend.
norwa I’m not the biggest fan of Manhwas, but I don’t think that they really deserve the title of “off brand manga”. In the first place, Manhwas are the Korean or Chinese online comic format, as opposed to the black and white paperback standard we see in the Japanese counterpart. And this video is about Webtoons, not all of the properties on that site are Manhwas, there are quite a few American made ones there too. I’d highly recommend “Hooky” or “Purple Hyacinth” if you’re looking for a good example. Regardless, it’s not like the people who failed at making Manga go on to make their shitty cousin, Manwha. Sure some of the creators might not be as competent, but that’s only because the online comic format is much more easily accessible and it’s a great avenue for new and old writers.
RayThe Person getting an anime is not deconfirmed because a fair bit of live actions get animes too. So the realm of possibility is open. I just think only Cloverworks or Wit Studio could only do it justice.
Omniscient reader is my personal favorite story and in my opinion a contender for the greatest story of all time. But I can only say this for the light novel. I truly recommend reading no more than 10 chapters of the manhwa before reading the light novel. The manhwa is incredible and the art is amazing but one of the biggest pleasures of the light novel was its undetailed yet refined descriptions leading your imagination across vast battlefields or scenes of pure beauty. omniscient reader is up there with oyasumi pun pun for the raw emotion you can feel from every action. I really want to comment something simply, like read the omniscient reader light novel, I totally recommend it! But everytime I think of omniscient reader I think of the journey I followed. The happiness I felt when the mc succeed. The sadness and stress I felt alongside the mc when he died (it be like that sometimes, he even gets a nickname for it from his copanions for it.) The ending that was so bittersweet it leaves me slightly empty. I've read this story 100's of times all 550 chapters and it's been I bit over a year since a finished it but I feel I left a bit of me with that story. A bit of me that I'm fine stays living in a story that isn't mine but it's apart of me that I'll never get back. I know one day I'll found a story, a world where I can stay forever in, a place of my own creation maybe. I'm glad I read omnipotent reader, and I hope you'll read it too. Maybe you'll see me reading it alongside you.
Id recommend “Hive” its kinda like a zombie survival but with bugs. Its got a real creepy and tense vibe to it. It gets right into it too so read a couple chapters to see if you’d like it.

In Omniscient readers viewpoint the Dokkaebiis are just like twitch streamers DMing a party that they deal with on a way where the viewers find interesting, being killing them, making them fight, or anything like that And overgeared when I saw they weren't sending out any new chapters I got really sad, it was a fun story to read, but damn, when I saw the reboot, the artstyle is great, the comedy is quite much on point, and it is a fun story with loveably dumb and overthinking characters The list looks freaking great indeed

As someone who has just read the end of the boxer, i cannot recommend it highly enough, the ending is masterfully written and one of the best endings to a manwha I have ever read, it only gets better from where it is mentioned in this video and is a true masterpiece which you should 100% read if u have not yet.

I would recommend "I will die soon". Its about a guy who fails in life and commits suicide. After his death, because he dissed death herself in his will, she gets offended and makes him die 13 more times as different people who are about to die. But if he tries he can save the person he is living as and live on as themselves. It has 66 chapters and is finished publishing. As the story progresses the mc grows as a person, from a good-for-nothing manchild into a proper adult. It was a fun read and the artstyle is good.
omnescient readers pov actually has a novel as well. the manhua is a new adaptation but if u want to rlly understand and hate to wait, i’d recommend it as the translated novel is much further ahead. also if it’s ur cup of tea id also recommend trash of the counts family. basically a jaded korean [spoiler] transmigrated into a novel he binge read in a night and realized he became the trashy heir to a wealthy county and decided “no, i wanna be rich and retire at the ripe old age of 18” but the universe won’t let him. it’s rlly good if u like the trope of “slacker tries to stay low but instead gets worshipped by people he initially had no interest in interacting with”

True reverend insanity is a masterpiece. Though i say some people might dropped it in chapter 600 to 1000. Its boring at that part bcoz it is building the world. Some also might hate it either bcoz the mc is unconventional or the enemy (H*)(they are good main enemy but still i see them a bit annoying bcoz there are to many of them even though if they disappear there will be no one who will oppose him) and his brother is annoying(some people might simphatize with him after 1000 chapters but i think he is badluck to the mc at ch 1600 till the newest chapter). Overgeared is good but i say the webnovel is good after ch 200 where he becomes gui** *****. My favorite character there is surprisingly Kraugel. Also some might turned off by this webnobel bcoz its story in the first 200 or 90. Some might be turned off by the story bcoz the author is quite a nationalist. The romance of the mc except his **** is also a bit meh for me. But overall giod story and i currently reread it. Note i use **** bcoz im censoring myself from saying spoilers

Im also kinda disappointed that they make kraugel so weak after becoming sword saint. I mean my favorite character is him and they dont do him justice. Id rather he just stay normal class and i think he will be stronger then as sword saint. Peerless Dad (or Father Unrivaled) is one of the coolest martial arts manhwa I've ever read and it's just amazing to see the main character and his children develop as you read through.
ORV Omniscient Readers viewpoint Is nOthing like solo leveling, the chapters always makes you want to read more, there a so many plot twist that never gets boring and we connect with all the main cast at an emotional level, the whole cast has different viewpoints of the world and we understand their emotions and thought, I really recommend reading the LN, I don't think you can receive the same description and plot in the manhwa, but still you will laugh and cry during the many incredible moments within the series. Solo Leveling on the other hand doesn't have both the combined aspects of action and emotion, Solo leveling can be extremely hype and make your blood pump but can't make you sympathize and cry, this is why I believe ORV is better, its the best of both worlds, both having incredible art and action scenes it also has heartwarming and wholesome scenes. any way Just Read ORV you won't regret it.

I'm like 60 chapters into Sweet Home and ITS REALLY GOOD. Worth a read for about 20 chapters if you wanna see if you like it. They're pretty short on webtoon so it won't take you long. It's the same author who did Bastard btw so if you're familiar with that you know the writers quality.

I started reading the novel of Omniscient reader's viewpoint when the manhwa dropped, and yeah, I don't think I have ever read a novel that kept me engaged for SO many chapters. I didn't finish it yet, I am about 2/3 in, but the world building is amazing and the plot awesome, I can see why it is so popular, especially when, even so far in, I have NO idea what the ending will be!

I recommend the manwha Trash of the counts family! Although the manwha is still in the early parts of the story, it's following the novel pretty accurately. Sorry I have read the Light Novel of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint and I must say that in the first chapters the emphasis on how much he likes reading the web novel is very very VERY important as it is literally the base of the whole story later on.. I guess you’ll understand with time when the they release the (around) 200th chapter of the manhwa.

Fr fr, but I wished in the manwha the tennent guy had a oldboy hair style and was skinnier though, that was my imagination. And I always had Anna on the pettier side (small) a bigger contrast to yoo joonghyuk to show how in the new world status is more important then appearances. Of coarse complaining about my imagination not being true is pretty rude but that's my version of omniscient reader a version where Kim dokja wakes up to his smiling family all tucked under one big house.

You should read “I will die soon” basically the mc kills himself and wrote a will that made death seem obsolete so the embodiment of death takes him and kills him 13 times and each time he gets killed again he experiences life as another person that will die soon after he inherits the body but if he can somehow avoid the death he can keep the body and live again. It’s a pretty emotional story and we get to watch the mc go through all these different lives and form/ lose relationships and close friends.

I am almost finished with the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (16:55) novel (I am on chapter 500 out of 551. It's pretty long). It is easily one of the best books I have ever read. It has an amazingly written story and world, and tons of very interesting characters. By far my favorite story of recent years. So far the webtoon has been following the novel accurately, and the art is beautiful.

Nathan Terrelonge-Tillery nothing too exciting, from the first ten chapters he stands up for a kid from some gangsters, and drinks coke with a kid at the hospital. He barely had any dialogue. The side characters have had more screen time than the mc. If 1/5 of the manhwa sucks(50 something chapters out) it prob all sucks.

I loved FFF-Class Trashhero, it’s nice seeing tropes have the shit beat out of them. Really reminds me of Konosuba if Kazuma was a psychopath. First time he did something absolutely evil I got chills, add in the grins and smiles he makes and it’s beautiful to see a genre be reversed a full 180 degrees. Not just a anti hero like Naofumi but a full villain.

norwa I’m not the biggest fan of Manhwas, but I don’t think that they really deserve the title of “off brand manga”. In the first place, Manhwas are the Korean or Chinese online comic format, as opposed to the black and white paperback standard we see in the Japanese counterpart. And this video is about Webtoons, not all of the properties on that site are Manhwas, there are quite a few American made ones there too. I’d highly recommend “Hooky” or “Purple Hyacinth” if you’re looking for a good example. Regardless, it’s not like the people who failed at making Manga go on to make their shitty cousin, Manwha. Sure some of the creators might not be as competent, but that’s only because the online comic format is much more easily accessible and it’s a great avenue for new and old writers.

Omniscient reader is my personal favorite story and in my opinion a contender for the greatest story of all time. But I can only say this for the light novel. I truly recommend reading no more than 10 chapters of the manhwa before reading the light novel. The manhwa is incredible and the art is amazing but one of the biggest pleasures of the light novel was its undetailed yet refined descriptions leading your imagination across vast battlefields or scenes of pure beauty. omniscient reader is up there with oyasumi pun pun for the raw emotion you can feel from every action. I really want to comment something simply, like read the omniscient reader light novel, I totally recommend it! But everytime I think of omniscient reader I think of the journey I followed. The happiness I felt when the mc succeed. The sadness and stress I felt alongside the mc when he died (it be like that sometimes, he even gets a nickname for it from his copanions for it.) The ending that was so bittersweet it leaves me slightly empty. I've read this story 100's of times all 550 chapters and it's been I bit over a year since a finished it but I feel I left a bit of me with that story. A bit of me that I'm fine stays living in a story that isn't mine but it's apart of me that I'll never get back. As someone who has just read the end of the boxer, i cannot recommend it highly enough, the ending is masterfully written and one of the best endings to a manwha I have ever read, it only gets better from where it is mentioned in this video and is a true masterpiece which you should 100% read if u have not yet.

I would recommend "I will die soon". Its about a guy who fails in life and commits suicide. After his death, because he dissed death herself in his will, she gets offended and makes him die 13 more times as different people who are about to die. But if he tries he can save the person he is living as and live on as themselves. It has 66 chapters and is finished publishing. As the story progresses the mc grows as a person, from a good-for-nothing manchild into a proper adult. It was a fun read and the artstyle is good.

True reverend insanity is a masterpiece. Though i say some people might dropped it in chapter 600 to 1000. Its boring at that part bcoz it is building the world. Some also might hate it either bcoz the mc is unconventional or the enemy (H*)(they are good main enemy but still i see them a bit annoying bcoz there are to many of them even though if they disappear there will be no one who will oppose him) and his brother is annoying(some people might simphatize with him after 1000 chapters but i think he is badluck to the mc at ch 1600 till the newest chapter).
Overgeared is good but i say the webnovel is good after ch 200 where he becomes gui** *****. My favorite character there is surprisingly Kraugel. Also some might turned off by this webnobel bcoz its story in the first 200 or 90. Some might be turned off by the story bcoz the author is quite a nationalist. The romance of the mc except his **** is also a bit meh for me. But overall giod story and i currently reread it.

@Dulmandakh Man im one of the person who thinks that national competetion arc a bit annoying i mean you expose your skill to media and grid and other rankers also do that. Im also kinda disappointed that they make kraugel so weak after becoming sword saint. I mean my favorite character is him and they dont do him justice. They introduced him as very overwhelmingly strong then after becoming sword saint instead of being stronger he seem to become weaker. Id rather he just stay normal class and i think he will be stronger then as sword saint. One of the only reasoni read national competetion arc is bcoz one there is kraugel who seem to be not shown much and seem to get weaker and weaker then grid. I also do not like grids third class bcoz it is like a protagonist and the epic system makes grid to broken and kraugel. Also it looks like overgeared members will almost reach kraugels power but i dont want that. I dont want him to be just background companions like others and want him to power up to be as strong as him. His rivalry with grid is good but kraugel is to weak to rival him which i dont like. His introduction make him so overwelming but if he bcome like this show no justice to him.

I read omnicient reader’s viewpoint novel, and I certainly enjoyed it.
Peerless Dad (or Father Unrivaled) is one of the coolest martial arts manhwa I've ever read and it's just amazing to see the main character and his children develop as you read through.
ORV Omniscient Readers viewpoint Is nOthing like solo leveling, the chapters always makes you want to read more, there a so many plot twist that never gets boring and we connect with all the main cast at an emotional level, the whole cast has different viewpoints of the world and we understand their emotions and thought, I really recommend reading the LN, I don't think you can receive the same description and plot in the manhwa, but still you will laugh and cry during the many incredible moments within the series. Solo Leveling on the other hand doesn't have both the combined aspects of action and emotion, Solo leveling can be extremely hype and make your blood pump but can't make you sympathize and cry, this is why I believe ORV is better, its the best of both worlds, both having incredible art and action scenes it also has heartwarming and wholesome scenes. any way Just Read ORV you won't regret it.

I'm like 60 chapters into Sweet Home and ITS REALLY GOOD. Worth a read for about 20 chapters if you wanna see if you like it. They're pretty short on webtoon so it won't take you long. It's the same author who did Bastard btw so if you're familiar with that you know the writers quality.
Ikr, it's amazing! That being said, it's better to let around 5-10 chapters accumulate and then read it rather than weekly, cause many characters aren't memorable enough to remember after 2 months

I started reading the novel of Omniscient reader's viewpoint when the manhwa dropped, and yeah, I don't think I have ever read a novel that kept me engaged for SO many chapters. I didn't finish it yet, I am about 2/3 in, but the world building is amazing and the plot awesome, I can see why it is so popular, especially when, even so far in, I have NO idea what the ending will be!

I recommend the manwha Trash of the counts family! Although the manwha is still in the early parts of the story, it's following the novel pretty accurately. It's not your usual transmigration manwha and I recommend the novel too! The novel has quite a slow start but it gets so much more interesting later in the story, and the novel still isn't done. It will probably be a pretty long novel.
