@@itmofficial2829If your probook have that slot but you cannot use the sim card, that means that it does not have a wwan card installed. You can do some research for the wwan card specific for your laptop, buy and ask someone to install it in your laptop. Make sure to do proper research though

@sui-dr8nu the lowest i have seen one 4g lte pcie modem go is 70-100$. Most of the good ones are at 150$. 5g ones are 300$ easy. You may get 3g modems for 40-50$ but they are useless in modern era as most providers have closed their 3g network and only providing 4g or 5g for internet and 2g for backup.
Yeah very few laptops are going to have this slot and if you did you knew how to use it already most likely.

Note this only works if your laptop has a Broadband/WWAN card, if your HP Probook doesn't have a Broadband card this will not work

You still can't - the modem is inside the laptop and that is just a dedicated port. Have an inspiron 1520 with a sim slot but without the modem.
