This is a similar setup to a Probe Testing Machine job I used to do way way back in early 2000’s for Motorola. Very satisfying to know you’re the only one in the factory with the knowledge. Used to test chips on 6” silicon wafer for phones like the classic Razr. Cutting edge back then 😊 now used to recover data, clever.

This means that you don't need to solder all the contacts. There is an older method where you need to solder all the contacts, which in this case I connect with needles using a Sipider Board

Reminds me of one of those mystery point and click mobile games where you do something similar to this to progress. Really, really difficult puzzles yet very rewarding if you crack it.

Patiently waiting on SSD data recovery videos. Have one that had a chip blow from overvoltage. Only the one chip blew, so im assuming the data is still there on the nand chips
What chip blew? Most ssds have a controller (cpu, memeory and rom that handles the nand) and 2 or more nand chips if the nand chips burned its almost impossible because they contain some read/write/erase logic and also some access logic so maybe half of the data might be gone

Woow really genial Friend, I also had to scrape an SD and detect that the terminal was damaged. I found an open terminal. The greatest thing is to tie the finish cut to work again, so use a copper wire as a cautin tip of the diameter of a needle and manage to weld the cut terminal and manage to run the card and I was able to recover 90% of or information

Is this supplying power while extracting the data? Afterwords, do you need to reconstruct parts of the data, like with hex editor? I love data forensics. We worked with FTK and other programs to extract, examine and undelete data in college. I've extracted e01 files from computers and hard drives but, I have never gotten to do this with an sd card. This looks like fun! I am definitely checking out your video on this!
