It's time for a new video!
Last weekend, I went to the Manhay (Belgium) in the Ardennes, to participate in a huge WW2 Reenactment!
What an amazing experience it was..
There was so much to see!
Displays everywhere, authentic vehicles, and hundreds of reenactors!
Our camp was located close to the Manhay History 44 museum, we could see the famous Panzerkampfwagen V Panther from our position!
It was freezing, and I had to spent the night in my pup tent!
And the battles we had.. these were the most intense, realistic and insane battles I've ever participated in!
Of course there were much more things to do, but enough talking now, it's time to watch!

I was lucky enough to know a gentleman who was in the battle of the bulge and every night he would wake up in pain and his wife would have to take the covers off of his feet because the frostbite messed his feet up real bad. Just the slightest touch to his feet would send him into a fit of pain. He always told me he only survived because him and his fox hole buddy had to bear hug cuddle each other to share warmth throughout each night.
His saying he always said was “if I had to do it again, I would……but I really prefer not too”. He was a legend. Such a humble man!

My fiancé’s grandfather served during the Battle of the Bulge, I never got to meet him but he is an absolute legend in my book and I wish I had was able to know him
i absolutely love the battle of the bulge gear. it looks so toasty but badass at the same time. i especially like the helmet nets, there's just something about it.

I also bought a post war M1 helmet with a Belgium flag on the liner with a good pirce of £45! I used to use a 1972 American helmet but it was probably not used in the vietnam war because the Americans left vietnam in 1972 so probably not, I still have both helmets and very happy with my new purchase.
I have an M1 helmet on the second world war
I got 2 m1 helmets from Vietnam era and a repro m35 stalhelm

Yo nick i just want to say thx for getting me into reenacting i watched your videos since i was 7 and i wanted to do reenacting but there werent any ww2 regiments i could join but since im in the US i found civil war ones i could join in a few years and now im a drummer for a regiment so thx for getting me into it

Awesome stuff as always Nick, so important to remember these brave men who gave their lives for us to live in freedom. I would love to participate in this one day just to experience how hard this must have been for them and appreciate what they went through even just a tiny amount.

Nice video. The first explosion was very loud. I was there and it was minus 3 Celsius. There was a lot to see and the reenactment looked really good. Next year again. Regards from a Dutch guy in Belgium.

When I saw that happen, my jaw literally hit the floor. To have such a beautiful piece of historical weaponry destroyed like that. Hope you're doing well!

Just loved the videos Nick to just take one step into what it was like for the soldiers of all nations who lived in hell literally. Forget who was on who’s side for a second. Just the sheer willpower to stay in these conditions without a bullet or bomb coming on its own, deserves respect to those who are no longer here in this world!
They where the greatest generation that Nick and others like him are doing, is in memory of them and what they did for freedom! Thank you Nick and fellow re-enactors for your portrayal of these boys and men, who fought and died inside by side! May we never forget the sacrifice they did for us all.

Fantastic realism and the weather to match! Appreciate the efforts to keep the history of the US Army “dogface” ETO soldier, like my deceased Father, alive for the current generation. They were good men who did their duty and made sacrifices so that Europe (at least the Western portion) could be free from totalitarianism.

I always love your videos. Yesterday one of my family members sent me a ring and a little envelope. The ring was made from a ww1 German soldiers button. I do not know where the envelope is from but I love them. I also got a US penny from 1944

I live in Finland and in my city there is 52 centimeters of snow right now and that would be perfect to Battle of Bulge reenactment.

my great-grandfather was in the 10th armored division and fought in the battle of the bulge. i even have his uniform in my closet.

i have too watch stuff like this too understand what my pops went through he flew planes in world war 2 and then again in the other war he spent 25 years in the service then the last time he was shot down that was it for him good thng he made it through i would not even be here my pops meet my mom when she was working on the planes of world war too working in the engines of the planes both my mom and dad never really ever talk about the days during the war i guess he was just trying not too thnk about it like most who has spent time in the service anyway shot out too all the people who had served tyvm for all what u all have done for us
