Whitewashing your helmet isnt even correctly for this time in the battle of the bulge, the snowing actually started later in the battle of the bulge, and not every soldier white washed their helmets

these reenactments remind me of the time I stayed at my grandparents for a week because my parents were on a holiday, One day it was like 6/7 in the morning I got out of bed opened my curtains and got scared the living shit out of myself because there were german soldiers in their yard, Turns out there was an event happening that I somehow didn't know of. Loved these nick great show you give us!

At 4:43 was that historically correct SPAM??!! My youngest son and I used to have days when we would take different mess kits And cook historically accurate meals on old burners or a small fire. He used to love it. He's 18 now and off to college. I hope he thinks back on it and has good memories. Great video, thanks for sharing your adventure.

And their country I would love to meet you in person my mom and dad won’t let me have a trench in my yard because I still live with them or Foxhall I got one in the woods but it’s been abandoned for a long time I love your videos thank you

The. Neuropathic pain is something I live with daily Nick, that my brain hates the cold. Like yourself the skin opens even being out in the cold for a minimal 30 seconds it just opens. With no one able to help find out why it does it. You need little hand warmers or socks Nick that have a heating element that run from a battery. That would help you sir. Thank you. Great impression with the chalk! What would be interesting: Could you tell a bit or make a video about the battles at night? Hard to imagine today: were there like shifts? Flashlights were not existing, how did a spy act.. Just know the pilots usually fought at night

My Daddy was in the Battle of the Bulge. He got a pretty bad leg wound but thank you Lord for bringing him back to us.

I never thought of the idea of using chalk like that for a helmet cover for winter, genius idea, I might try that out soon for my m1 helmet!
