Cella has become my “go to” shaving soap. It gives me great value, cushioning, and pretty good slickness. The smell, however, is an acquired taste. Initially, it reminded me of the cherry vanilla ice cream l ate as a child. Does anyone out there remember Velvet Freeze?😀
The SLAB is in my opinion one of the best DE razors going. Just the right amount of aggression. For the price you'd be hard pushed to find one better. Cella is £9 in the UK!!
Yes I love the SLAB more and more. Better mix than for example the Mühle Open Comb that I sold because of it. Wow 9 pound is hefty, I think the puck I show in the video I got in a profumeria in Italy for 2.95 Euros.
Please share the address where your order it online I live in holland but they overprice this cella Crema how about the soap how does it compare to this cream soap? And is the ingredient list to your liking?? Thanks for your review I definitely subscribe like your channel. Sorry I just heard you posted the ingredients;-)
+samdeur I do not purchase Cella online. I live in Austria near the Italian border. So I drive 20min to Italy and buy it in the store for like 3 Euros. Cella only does one product, yes on some it says cream and on some it says soap... it is always the same thing. I always buy the small red tube as this already lasts very long. Buying the large package is nuts, it will go bad. The ingredients in Cella are excellent, as they are basically still the same as they were 100 years ago. So no parabens or that shit...
hahah tha's awesome..your one lucky guy.. btw wanted to ask you ..do you know a method for removing a knot from a handle..i just dropped my edwin jagger best badger 21mm and the handle broke i can still use it..and ordered a Plisson knot one..but i saw that i can buy a new handle on ebay for $10 might be worth doing..just don't know of a good way to remove the knot..
Sorry I do not do such repairs myself. I have 2 left hands when it comes to such things, especially woodwork and similar things. I am good with cars and such hehe
Thanks, yes I do shave quite a while and I think I have a good amount of experience with DE and good lathering. I am just a beginner in the Straight Razor department, but gaining experience quickly.

Hit “return” too quickly. Cella’s pre-shave gel and aftershave balm are also first rate.
Thanks got to try them, did not find them anywhere near yet!
Cella the italian pride
I quite enjoy Cella, and most other classic shave soaps.

+David Quinton If you think that's pricey, this stuff is about $17 US or 12 GBP.

when you whipped it in the bowl. on a primal level I was irritated that I could not see you fiddling with the bowl.
