Theres a big difference between having/riding with buddies and riding/joining an MC. There is much more that goes on in an actual organization, which is why you need to pay dues, have order and rank. MC aint for everyone, just like the military aint for everyone. Some people like myself, just likes to ride when i want, how i want. I seen too many people who stopped riding because they left the MC and lost the passion for it.
I’m with you Bro. All clubs do is put more stress in your life. I ride to relax. Been riding since 1972 and never been in a club. Hung with the Alameda Angels in 73 but got the f**k out before I got hurt/in trouble.
I love how you people say "oh I'll never join because I want to ride whenever I want to ride"... never in an MC will you be apprehended for riding whenever you want to ride... if anything they want you to ride as much as possible and you can ride whenever you want, just only with the addition of making sure you are present for specific necessary runs that happen every few months or so. And as for the rules, how tf do you expect to maintain a standard in an organization without rules. The rules aren't there to tell you what to do, they are there to maintain a lesser level of dickheadery in the club. The other thing is, you become part of the process in the making of the rules and you get to vote on it.
As an adult and GROWN MAN, I like the ability of not being told what to do on my OWN motorcycle 😂. To each their own though.
@@rich075 facts and/or paying extra to ride that mf😭
