The moment with his grandfather is so precious, as is the snuggle with his grandmother. That is pure love. So tender. We need so much more of that in the world.
This was the most captivating thing I've seen in while. Great direction, in 5 minutes I feel like I got a feel for a place I know very little about. The beauty, the harshness, the dogs. The men and women. The stories told.
Amazing life! A very big THANK to you, sir, for sharing all this unique knowledge from your life in Arctic Tundra! May God always keep you safe as well as all your loved ones and family members! Best wishes from Sweden!❣👍❤💯
Beautiful way of life. So-called modern societies nowadays are full of problems: division between the people, a constant pressure of looking a certain way, of having certain things, loneliness despite networks that are supposed to connect us.
Inuits are the master race. During ww2, Germans favored Finnish, Norwegian who have partial Sami dna, and Japanese/Korean who have Ainu dna, both are related to Eskimos. Although I am Mexican I am proud to share a substantial amount of Inuit dna.
When the Vikings arrived, according to the Sagas, it was warmer than today and hence more greener. It was also named that to encourage more people to migrate there, What the inuit called the place is of course something different
It is not "snowy white" year long! Greenlandic summer is green and it lasts some months. When Norsemen came to the island they found a green environment in the south, maybe even birch forests in the valleys, so they called this land Greenland.

Its cool to see a place where much of the Native lifestyle is preserved. And it can't be easy living there! That'd be so harsh!
Canada as well.
This was stunning, beautifully shot and written, thank you for sharing!

Kids ride sleds to school like we rode bikes. Cool!
This is a masterpiece.
Nice to watch and learn directly from the people who live there, not from a presenter. I could watch a lot more about these interesting people.
This was great! So short, but it felt like a big budget professional documentary. Excellent camera shots and atmosphere!
Needs to be guarded, watched, protected, and preserved

The harsh climate makes them more resilient, strong, and intelligent. You don’t gain these traits through lying in a tree in the Sub saharan jungles.
*Inuit. There is no letter S in word inuit.
so gorgeous.
i love this and is it a movie i want to see part 2
I never understood why it was named Greenland, when it's snowy white all year long. Someone fd up naming this country. Great video

I always thought the natives of Greenland were European, I had no idea they were Inuit. 😊😊
Asians are everywhere
Isn't it illegal to hunt seals because they're endangered?🤔
Nope
No and for indigenous folk, the same rules do not apply
Seals aren’t endangered, not the type that Inuit hunt anyway. There’s millions of them

They look Asian, sort of Eskimo...Thought they'd look like White like Iceland
They are Inuit, Native Americans.
Nope, there were Norse settlers there once, but they died out. Many Greenlandic do have some Norse blood however
Icelandic people aren't white.
They are “eskimos” (Inuit)
Haha. Most of the words are badly translated.
Can women be hunters in Greenland?
