This is not abok 3446. Abok 3446 involves passing the needle underneath the whipping, diagonally through each strand, into the groove between it and the next strand. Then, at the top, it worms down the outside of the grooveline back to the bottom. If you were to take the underneath portion and display it on top, it and the worming would form a vvv shape. The underneath portion is nearly perpendicular to the worming on the outside. That's why it requires a palm. On a properly tensioned whipping, it takes a great deal of force to get the needle to go through so much material.
