Yeah that last fight was really well executed. OG countered crono with WW's cold embrace, afterwards Ana gets skewered deeper but guardian angel saves him and finally when they fall back magnus tries to turn tables with RP but he gets instantly cursed and OG wins the fight. They just had so many cards to play. Genius draft and execute.

1 - Both OG and VC already had their positions in the group stage determined.
2 - "Dominate"? VG were sure to win the match if it were not for Paparazi's stupidity. Even the casters said when the game ended that VC should have won.

But they definitely didn't draft like it mattered - that Techies was countered so hard, but they had fun with it. And no matter how much you hate OG, you can't deny that they had the best record of the group stages (that meme game was one of 2 losses in 16 games) and came to TI at least one step ahead of what everyone else thinks the meta is. Just like when EG won TI and everyone had to ban - ironically - Techies, teams will have to start banning that Ana Io. And if you have to ban Io, something else gets through.

All by design. When OG drafts, they make a decision about whether they want Ana to get all the space and farm and need Topson to take a hit, whether they'll both be in a good spot or whether Topson will carry. Most of it has to do with who the opponent bans against. It was just like that in TI8 - they ban PL and Spectre, Topson does it all by himself. They ban Invoker and MK and suddenly Ana gets the pick of the litter.

Pro players are very good at positioning themselves. If you see the gameplay, og always put ana infront while the others stay at the back waiting for a counter attack. Wyvern was sitting behind the trees making void difficult to have a good chronos since its heavily countered by cold embrace
