O holy Jesus, Most merciful redeemer, Friend and brother, May I know thee more clearly, Love thee more dearly, And follow thee more nearly And follow thee more nearly
That was really quite beautiful. It's funny how you can be having a bad day and something like this is more than enough to perk you up.Now that i know the name of this piece i will have to hunt down the sheet music for it.An organist filling in at my parish played this(organ only) once and darted out the door before i could ask her what it was she was playing.Thank so much for posting.Keep up the excellent work!God bless!
This selection was sung at my late father's funeral... When you have time, you might record this anthem with your choir... with a soprano singing the solo part... If my memory is correct, this selection is available in the Oxford U. Press Easy Anthem book... Many thanks for the video...
Absolutely beautiful! Can I attach my church choir's singing of the same hymn as a video response to your wonderful clip? Thanks a lot! Greetings from Hong Kong, China!
Beautiful and relaxing piece along with the singing voices
Beautifully sung
O holy Jesus,
Most merciful redeemer,
Friend and brother,
May I know thee more clearly,
Love thee more dearly,
And follow thee more nearly
And follow thee more nearly
Kudos to the organist on the dual-tasking! Sounds great!!
Nicely done. Reminds me of my days as headorganist/choirmaster. God Bless..
