I was lucky to go from a 4 track Tascam to a Roland 2480. A great unit for live recording. The Zoom could take its place for me at school. You were missed at the reunion. It all starts with the playing. I was lucky to do a couple of projects with Alan Green. I just had to make them sound like themselves.

For me it had to do with operating system updates and making sure the versions were capable of communicating. For example, I can't use the L-12 as an audio interface with my Mac Tower because the operating system is outdated, but I can't (or won't! ) change because it works great as is and I don't want to touch it. And sometimes you have to clean delete the install of the app/driver and reinstall it. Sometimes that works. Don't ask me why...

Great video! The only thing i wish about this unit is that it could be used with an ipad, to remotely control it when doing a live session.

I agree wholeheartedly. I wish that same thing. I would use it for every live gig if it had that capability. The L-20 has that capability though.

Hello Family! for some reason I'm getting a error that says driver won't initialize. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the l12 driver but nothing. Im trying to sync with my MPC and reason software.

What computer/operating system are you attempting to install it on? As in OS X 10.??
or Windows?? If I'm not mistaken if you are Mac OS it needs to be 10.12 or higher. I'll check it, but I think that's right.
