He is the cutest little fur baby ever! You guys are taking great care of him. We lost our sweet Shi Tzu after 16 years a few months ago and I still cry almost every day. We are senior citizens so I am not sure we should get another one at this age but watching you with him makes me long for one. Loved watching this so much! Thank you.
Life is short! Get a puppy shihtzu! I had my Bella for almost 14 years. She passed away monday morning Oct 12 2020. I told my self no more puppies at my age now. I'm retired now
& i know my Bella would not want to see me cuddle another dog. But I had to fill the hole in heart with a puppy shihtzu. I found Laci she was 6 weeks old now shes 8 weeks now

Shih Tzu's are the sweetest. My baby Molly is a miniature. She is 10 years old. She acts like an old lady. Shes not really playful, but we love her dearly.

Ara Mina Butiong yes very . I had to send one to my brothers house. I have two male and the youngest one would bully the older one . Then the older one started marking my house every where. There are two siblings but from two different litter. Only like 7 months apart. Maybe cause one is very playful and one is very laid back. Hope that helps. Any the questions please let me know.

@@Chantenique That is what I love about my Shih-Tzu, they communicate with their eyes... and vocally....... heheh, I am typing this in the basement, and Chewy (my 2 year old Shih-Tzu) is sitting at my feet "grunting" and looking up at me like "really, you are doing this again..... c'mon man, let's do something!!!!!?" I am 67 years old, and have never had a friend like this little guy.......
Just rescued a Shih Tzu. He had a rough patch but is so amazing and adaptable. He has tried so hard to get the rules and routine. He is the best. Love this channel thank you

I have a Shih Tzu who also gives me the "big eyes" when he's pissed at me. His are gold not black and he can really glare at me. Boy knows how to make his point. 😁

The carpet or a rug is their safe zone. My Ziggy boy does that too, get his treat & take it to a carpeted area.

Loved watching this video. My Shih Tzu died unexpectedly Tuesday morning. Had her for over 10 years. I miss her so. She was like a human in a dog's body. So sweet.
These two are why I got a Shih Tzu a year and a half ago! I named my little man Omen he’s blue cream and looks like Casper with a gray tint when low buzzed!

My Shizu name is Elo...he is 9...I thought that I was rescuing him at his age four but honestlty he rescued me. He is black and white almost spittin image of Mace. Love you Little Mace!! 💝

I was just cruising the internet for Shih-Tzu videos to entertain my little guy (2 years old last September of course a Shih-Tzu!) and found this...... heheh, I love it! When you commented that his mission is to destroy his toys and pull the stuffing out....... heheh, you hit my Chewy dead center...... lol, one toy lasts 5 minutes most of the time, and the ones he cannot destroy....... well, he keeps trying and eventually succeeding! They are so special....... heheh, most people think I am this "big bad biker dude" and should have a Great Dane, or German Shepherd, but I have to say, my Shih-Tzu is more than fine for me..... The routine thing also cracked me up..... we have a routine, and if I am more than 20 minutes late in the morning..... boy he let's me know! Separation anxiety..... man, if I go to the store without him, I can guarantee a small puddle on the floor when I get back....... not mad, just clean it up and give him his new toy. (guilt makes me by one every time I leave him...... lol) Thanks for sharing!

What a sweet nugget! My shih tzu is near identical to yours but with brown/brindle instead of gray. Otherwise, same haircuts, same mannerisms, same little white tuft of fur on their heads, SAME DOG FOOD. So cute.

My roomie is a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix. I absolutely love her and we are totally bonded. She’s so smart and she’s trained according to me.
Wow! What a treasure, he is so lovely :) We have a shih Tzu and she loves to play with a green ball. She has it for years, but still gets really excited every time she sees it. She loves going for walks to the beach, and sometimes she likes to go swimming.
I am owned by a Sch tsu mixed with miniature schnauzer female. She does pretty much everything you described in this video, which I totally enjoyed.
I’m glad I’m not the only one to explain to my Shih-Tzu that she’s going to the groomer for a little while and that I expect her to behave 😄

Aw! Sooo cute! We love shitzu’s. We have an all white boy who is 4. They’re the sweetest dogs. We talk to him all the time, just like he’s a human. Love when they turn their little head when they listen. We walk him 1 mile on the am and 1 mile at night. We give him filtered water from fridge too. Before we used tap and it caused the rust stains awful around his eyes. Hope you have your little boy for years to come. ❤️

Hi Chantenique This is the first time I saw you and Mace and definitely will return many times to see how things are going with sweetie Mace I must tell you that I had a wonderful Shih Tzu who I rescued when he was about approximately 3 yrs old. He passed about 4 yrs ago and lived til 17 yrs old but unfortunately his last couple yrs his health decreased with old age. I also must let you know that Mace's markings especially his sweet face are exactly the same as my Tashis. Hes like a clone of my Tashi. You treat Mace like I treated my Tashi and just seeing you with Mace almost brings tears to my eyes becuz he looks so much like my Tashi and will keep following you and Mace so that I can smile and feel good when I see you together! All of you are so lucky to have each other! Yr wonderful parents to Mace and Mace is a wonderful sweetheart to you both! Many Blessings to you, Mace and Darren. Pls correct me since I think I may have Darren's name wrong. 🥰🐾🐕👍

Oh what a cutie pie 😍. I had Shihtzu just like your boy, his name was teddy. I had to leave the state to be with my sister who was passing away.I was gone 3 weeks and had a neighbor watching him. He became sick and wouldnt eat. I didnt have any money to have my friend take him to the vet as every penny I had went to the funeral. He died the morning I was getting on the plane to fly back😭. I never knew made him sick, I was and still heartbroken over him. Ive had dogs my whole life who passed I was sad but I overcame my grief after a few months. but Shihtzus are different, they are like children and they become very close to you, Its been a year and I still cry. Eventually i will get another one, they are such wonderful companions!

Too adorable. Reminds me so much of my Chase whose 1/2 Shih tzu and 1/2 Bichon. They call them teddy bear dogs. He has a lot of the same characteristics as Mace, however Chase doesn't mind if we have to leave out and he's home, he just doesn't like to be alone when we are home. He's so hyper though, I mean to the point its like a maniac lol. Trying to get him to relax more, but love him to death.

I have one girl shitzu black and white she's been the sweetest dog ever, and I've had quite a few dogs, 9 dogs over the years. We do think of them as our Babies only dog Lovers do that. They are so spoil rotten, but it makes everyone Happy. Let's continue enjoying our Babies.😁 mine just turned 6 on Aug. 12

In 2001 I moved in to a 2 story home. I rented the entire 2nd floor and shared only the kitchen with the landlady. Well, she had two beautiful Shih Tzu puppies...brother and sister. During the 13 months I lived there I...played with them, bathed them, walked them, sometimes fed them. I would take them into the shower stall and bathe each of them with Johnson's Baby Shampoo. Then I would towel dry them then use my blow dryer to dry them. They enjoyed the entire "bathing experience" and they showed their love for me...over their owner. The landlady wanted to sell the home...I moved out...the dogs were given to a loving family. I'll never forget how my soul connected with their souls..."Deedee and Poppy"...beautiful friendly dogs.
