Cheers mate. Will try this as soon as my evo's flaking boiler gets replaced

Doh! They sending you one with an uncoated boiler? Ta, Kev.

It goes through my local seller so I've no idea. They just said that Gaggia has offered to change the boiler. Hoping for an uncoated one tho as I would be paranoidly checking for flakes again.

Kev, a back-to-back GCP milk drink workflow video would be awesome in the future!
Thaks for the video, as always, and looking forward to the full E24 video after seeing the short!

Will try this at the weekend, thanks! Not having great success with the milk steaming yet but will keep trying. Like the coloured Gaggia cups, can you get them in the uk?

Thanks for the tips! I’m currently learning on my evo pro, having had a barista express where I’d been doing pretty well. It’s a humbling experience 😂 practice practice!

One small thing you don't seem to mention is WHY you do the trick with turning on the steam before the light comes on...which AFAIK s that it forces the GCP to keep the boiler heating element on. This helps to maintain the steam pressure throughout ...

Just because you have more powerful steam and for longer if you do that. You're using it while the boiler is heating and at its hottest, rather than using it while it's cooling down. Ta, Kev.

Cheers Coffee Kev for this great video. As for the silicone tube to drip tray hack, can I just confirm that the tube you use is 6mm outer diameter, 2mm inner diameter? Thanks again, love your Gaggia vids.

I’m struggling with soya milk, it gets baked onto the wand and even if I tackle it immediately I have to scrub it off with a lot of effort. Any tips?
