Man, I've been playing Lucci, and I love that deck a lot, but from playing Sakazuki in the first part of Op06, flopping, then moving to Moria in the middle of 06 actually felt amazing, recently went back to Moria after looking at the Milan list then YOUR list, fuckin love this deck

Gecko Moria is my favorite deck, I played it a lot in OP06, I really like this list but unfortunately I started playing One Piece in OP04, so it is impossible for me to get the 3 admirals, Borsalino, Kuzan and Sakazuki, so I had to go to the dark side and play Lucci hahaha, I hope I can play Moria again
Sakazuki and Kuzan are super cheap! Borsalino is definitely one of the higher priced SRs but it's worth picking up. If that's all your missing it's worth trying out! :)

Sorry for being blunt, but this list is so flipping good!!!! I think the only card ratio I want to change is the Issho down to 2 (or maybe I've just gotten really unlucky 😂). Idk how you did it, but in this deck, the worst feeling card is Sabo, and that's still an amazing card. That's so freaking impressive, man. Thank you for giving me something else to play besides Bonney this post ban list format. If you somehow make any other changes or updates to the list, I'll be here 🫡

@@noooodIe so against Bonney you don't focus on removing basil with card effects. You swing into it with big numbers. 11k or more does the trick. But I recommend, defending your first card that's rested from leader effect and trying to keep a wide board. It really makes a huge difference if you can protect that first body

Congrats on the treasure cup! I converted over from Lucci recently, but I'm having a hard time against Lucci battles. They seem to always have an answer and can KO more easily with stage. Do you think you would consider a follow up video to address the Lucci matchup or have further tips??
So Lucci is a weird one. I'd recommend taking first and going for all of your sabo and borsalino plays. Don't worry about playing moria. It's too slow and let's them catch up. You gotta ko them quick usually
@@TheLuffyTCG I switched over from Lucci to give Moria a try, but it’s hard not to miss the double KO from Lucci and the easy reduction from leader/stage. I considered trying 8c Sabo or Lucci in the Moria deck but hard to make it work as well. I’m only running 2 sakazuki since that’s all I have but maybe I’ll have to grab another to make it work better

I want to build something competitive for locals right away and I'm wondering as a new player if Moria would be a good choice? I've played it on the sim and really like the way it plays. @@blinkTCG so I'll say this, if you're looking to go into OP08 with moria I can't tell you how it will do. I haven't tested any yet since I've been practicing for nats. But I will say that this deck for the rest of OP07 is very good! I might switch over to Lucci for OP08 personally

Yeah basically go for life and borsalino and sabo are the play. Gotta rely on them for the matchup for sure. If you can keep hand size low then you can swing into board when it's available
Can I ask if you want to go first or second against: Law Enel Mirror Secondly, against Enel are we going aggressive and trying to get them below 2 as fast as possible or just leaving them at 2 until we have a huge board? I always found this matchup awkward because we cant KO the 8s and 9s easily and they can go wide as well.

You don't want to let them use leader effect unless you can pressure them to 0 life or go for game. The 8s and 9s are annoying but we just swing into them with our own 8s or leader and use hogback to keep healthy on hand size. Rebecca is clutch off moria sometimes to defend your swings for next turn

That might be the craziest thing I've ever heard haha. Absalom is how you win a lot of your matches and establish early control of the game. Try revisiting him with Hina to establish a board on turn 3 or 4.

You have to chain your moria's with hogback so you can eventually have 1 or 2 on board. But sometimes you can just go for game with multiple 5ks

I went 9-0 then lost in the finals to BY Luffy. So 9-1 for that day. The other two days I went 4-2 then dropped just to go enjoy the rest of my day 🤣
