I have similar symptoms that start with severe fatigue, photosensitivity to light and irritation to noises. I have to stay in the dark room for a while, and sleep. It usually takes 24-48 hours to get better. Dizziness. I had zigzags once. Never happened again. Pressure on the left side of the face.
My daughter was diagnosed with silent migraines in pregnancy. It was scary for her. She went to the ER because of painless aura, visual change, one sided numbness and tingling in the arm and fingers (no headache). She thought she was having a stroke. She wasn’t diagnosed until seeing a neurologist who said it's not uncommon in pregnancy. I work in health care and most of the MDs I asked had never heard of them! Why is this condition so unknown? Why don't more MDs know about this as a possible pregnancy complication?
I have been getting silent migraines for a few years now and have NEVER had a typical migraine. I'm sure if they where strokes I wouldn't have recovered from several of them 100%
I never had a typical migraine, I'm 15. How I describe it is that one part of spot of my vision is sort of blurred out and unfocused, I get nauseous too. I'm not sure if it's a silent migraine or something else
Silent Migraine is migraine with aura that is not accompanied by headache. What you are describing sounds like a migraine aura which occurs in approximately 25-30% of people with migraine. It is always important to have symptoms evaluated by a healthcare practitioner if you have not already received a diagnosis.
I get silent migraines. Aura is just the start and while there is no overbearing headache, I get the stiff neck, nausea, confusion, and feel like my head is heavily bruised for up to three days. Your video didn’t seem to really cover the full plethora of symptoms of silent migraine. It doesn’t end with aura.
Can light and sound sensitivity along with moderate to severe dizziness be considered a silent migraine? Also, my issue lasts for a couple months and my head just reverberates from sudden sound and it doesn't even have to be loud. This time, I had about a 10 day warning that it was going to happen. I typically don't get headaches but when I do, I just want to sequester myself away in a dark, quiet room and sleep, and the "pain" isn't really that bad.
