- For this weeks video I unbox and review the new 2021 Hotwheels RLC 1964 Chevy impala ss Rose n one low rider. This is a amazing piece with lots of detail and the cool working suspension feature. I also compare it to the original 64 impala hotwheels makes and some other low riders hotwheels has done in the past and my customs. This car is based on a legendary low rider called the gypsy rose 🌹

Gypsy Rose was originally a 63 but I believe it caught fire and they went for a 64 I personally like the 63 Gypsy Rose better
Yeah there were 2 63s until the 64 was built I found some old pictures of it online it is pretty cool.

This is their take on the gypsy Rose . So sad that they did not honor the family or at least Jesse Valadez
Yeah I know hotwheels just did this on there own inspiring it by the real gypsy rose probably because they didn’t want to get permission to make it look like the real one. Greenlight will be coming out with a real gypsy rose replica that’s actually licensed in a couple Months.

Yeah it was inspired by an Original Lowrider called Gypsy Rose. Look it up.
I mentioned that in the video I even showed a picture of the real gypsy rose 64 to compare it to.

These were available on the hotwheels redline club but it sold out so now you can only get them on eBay for around $150
$38 is a steal considering it's going for 145 to 250
$38, was original retail I had paid for it with shipping. I was super lucky to had managed to get one of these with the quick sell out and rarity. It’s crazy the values for it at the moment.

That custom looks good what kind of paint do you use to custom I am looking to start customizing
Thanks I typically use testors enamel spray paint for my customs.
@@Itsjdmdrifter Here's the thing I did not know about the spray part so I went ahead and bought a few bottles of testors from Auto World can I apply that paint using a paint brush or do I have to get a sprayer?
The best way to apply testors paint in the bottles is to use a air brush but if you don’t have one spray paint is the best option to get a clean result. Also testors metallic spray paints have the best results as well.

Right now you can sign up for the rlc for $10 but since the memberships are unlimited this year it going to be harder to get stuff then it has been.

Gypsy rose has Daytons now. A couple of years back already
No the Dayton’s were changed a couple years ago. It’s on display at the Peterson museum and does not have daytons.
Dose it come with mini screwdriver ?
No screwdriver is included to tighten the suspension.

Yeah that’s definitely what it was inspired by either way I think the wheels could have been done better.
They made a set that looks like the correct wheels they are hard to find in the wild they came on the 63 Cadillac hot wheels 100%
Yeah the 100% riviera I have has the right wheels I wish they would have done something more like that on this one.
I just remembered the perfect wheels for that car are on the autoworld 64 barracuda vintage muscle edition.

weird, he had the 64 before pretty much everyone else i received mine yesterday and i got a 1899.
Yeah not sure why I got it so early at the time I got it I had only seen one other person show it.

Yes for sure but issues like this is very common on Hotwheels RLC. Especially more recently with RLC being more mass produced.
