    Finally a tutorial that doesnt fluff or separate the hair !! It looks neater like that imo

  • @tiaeraruffin1536

    Beautiful but if I could make a suggestion. The parts would make the hair flow flawlessly if they are brick laid not one on top of another. Makes it look fuller with bricklay parts

    I like this better than all the other ones it looks more like when I twist my actual hair just longer and fuller 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

    Omg Ive been buying this kind of hair for a few years now and have been crocheting it onto my cornrowed hair and just pulling on the strands to create a puffier looking curl. It matches my natural curl pattern so well that people actually think it's my hair everytime I do it lol never thought to crochet it like this 🤔🤔🤔 thanks! Will be trying next!

    Okay but why can you part so perfectly with your fingers?! When I do that it’s always crooked 😂😂 I love the twists!!
    Also when you add the hair doing the crochet method, does that cause less tension on your hair? I had to stop doing twists and braids for a couple months because I put too much tension on my edges.

    • @KuchJ.
      @KuchJ.  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    People say that you have to stretch the crochet braids, who cares, it is what you like and how you like it that matters, I would not stretch it, I would put it on the same way, I love it just the way it is.

    • @DoseOfBaani
      @DoseOfBaani 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      You dont have to.
      This hair has been out for yeaarrrrrssssss.
      Like....over 20 years.
      My husbands sisters were wearing this hair in Africa before i was even born. And I'm 29. 😂
      And nobody started really stretching it until now for longer twisted style braid twists.
      But if you dont want them long down to your bra strap or longer....you dont strech them. Leave this way.
      I think its beautiful when not stretched or fluffed out.

    • @KuchJ.
      @KuchJ.  5 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      To each their own. I mean it’s a hair it can be style however you want. Every style don’t have to be the same if I like my twist to be defined and neat looking then that’s how imma do it.

      @@KuchJ. I did exactly what you did, before I even saw your video. Except for the rubber bands, because my hair tends to tangle easy in rubber bands no matter what. I did the braid method and crochet them in and it turned out great. All the other people seem to seperate. I didn't have the time for all that I just stretched the hair a little for more length except the ends I didn't stretch the ends and left them curly and put it in my hair and let it fall into place, just like you did.

    I did mine he exact same way because i did not want to braid the roots but when the band pop the hair was loose so I had to go back in and still the band but i braided the roots a little then twist it was the only way to secure the hair on to the roots cuz i was leaving mine in long term and my hair is waist length so I need it to be secured, I also used one pack on my whole head and I ordered 3 and I have a lot of hair I just did not want them to be heavy and super full. In used more of my hair and less of the spring twist so I got about 3 twist out of one tentacle of spring twist hair. it came out perfect.

    Very pretty. The varying opinions about stretched vs not stretched and is this real spring twists on natural hair is all silly. Like someone else said...the hair is called spring twist hair not the style. Her hair is in its natural state and she’s using spring twist hair for the style so it is spring twist on natural hair.
    As far as the method you choose to use to manipulate the hair...that’s all for length purposes as typical spring twist hair doesn’t come in longer lengths from too many vendors (i think there’s like one vendor-but it’s costly)...so people started manipulating the hair for a longer appearance.
    Either method you choose...it’s beautiful and she did and exceptional job for her desired outcome. Do what works for you
    As for passion twist, the difference is the type of hair used. When twisted from the scalp the twisting method is the same (left to right, not twisting the individual strands).
    .

      Any issues with the rubber bands popping loose? I know oils break them down and I definitely plan on oiling my scalp🤔

    I'm amazed that you can do this to your own hair. It looks nice and neat - and don't your arms get tired?! When I was younger I used to curl my hair (waist length hair) everyday with a curling iron. My arms would get so tired I stopped doing it!

    I don't understand why viewers are saying stretch the hair first? Her her style is beautiful the way she did it. Wht the problem? I don't braid so I'm asking

    • @tracyhammonds7600
      @tracyhammonds7600 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Bc they don't braid lol. You're right there is no problem with not stretching this type of hair. Everybody is just being a critic.

      they're saying that because she labeled the video spring twists, but these are not spring twists since her technique is wrong. It's like watching a video expecting to see box braids and instead you see a bunch of microbraids

      Nappily Rooted this the original way to do spring twist. Now people stretch the hair then twist which basically gives it a different look. It’s nothing wrong with how she did it though. A lot of people jus don’t know that this is actually the way spring twist originally looked

    Hm I might go ahead and do this! I can't cornrow for crap for sangalese twists so this would be the best way for me! Looks just like my twist outs but better.

    You could clip the root while twisting so it stays Perfect without unraveling all over.
