I was a photographer for nearly 30 years and I spent a year working in a highly affluent gated community. There would always be construction going on or massive properties being mowed or painted and the workers weren't always given the best treatment or even have a shady area to take a break. I kept a large Igloo cooler full of ice cold waters in my trunk to hand out on days it hit triple digits and you would have thought I was passing out cash with the response I got. What you are doing makes a huge difference and making content or not it's thoughtful. Please never stop doing this. Wonderful video Jeremiah.
You know what I think is really awesome? As you pulled up to those kids it seems ordinary for us but for kids that´s literally a core memory, so what I mean, with such an action you tell them, "hey do good stuff because it´s awesome" and they will remember that. I work as a child supervisor and kids really remember that for the rest of their lifes and maybe it shapes them a lil bit too :)

Great job!!! As an ER/ICU nurse for 38yrs I have treated people with heat exhaustion and heat stroke which is no joke!! Every little bit will help keep them cool and hydrated!! PSA no energy drinks as they can cause kidney damage especially when some is dehydrated!!!
As a Fedex driver of 5 years now These summers where I'm at are wicked and it's been 110+ for over a week now. It's an absolute Oven in the back of our trucks all day long with no AC running around delivering peoples furniture. Customers and people like you have been saviors for us in these days! @@Digital_David UPS has announced that their delivery fleet is going to have AC, but many of the drivers are saying it going to take years for any of them to see it, plus I think it was part of their contract, for FedEx Ground their delivery drivers aren't employees, they are independent contractors, so its up to them to buy a delivery van that has AC or not.

I am French and I often do this kind of operation in the summer. I generously distribute cold bottles of water, soda, and some beers to farmers during the harvest. I use a Nissan Patrol, which is easier for dirt roads ^^ And the joy of giving, exchanging a few words with them without expecting anything in return, it’s amazing :) Ride safe !
14:54 yes this is a HUGE problem with FedEx trucks. i work at Express and the older trucks are so unreliable and constantly break down. it’s such a pain, and they get SUPER hot in the back

This is really great of you, man. I know how hard the heat was working in this week. I was on my mission trip, and me and my work group were outside everyday for like 8, maybe more, hours, building a ramp. Whenever we were brought food and got ice cold drinks, we were so happy, so I know how happy those workers must’ve been getting cold drinks on hot days. Most definitely do this again, it’s amazing that you’re helping people.
I worked at UPS a couple times during the busiest holiday seasons, and I can personally attest that we appreciated the hell out of various kind people who would give us a water bottle or some people were even kind enough to give us some snacks. It was a really nice feeling to know that people genuinely appreciated what we were doing to deliver their packages. We would have so many stops on any given day that we wouldn't want to stop to take a break, we would just survive off of bringing waters and snacks with us in the truck. We were working in the Texas, so even during the colder months of the year it still gets really hot outside especially considering we were constantly moving around and moving large packages in and out of the truck

People probably don't like you giving them prime since it sucks at hydrating due to the severe lack of sodium. Prime claims that it is an "hydration drink", but it lacks the most important electrolyte, sodium. So thats why gatorate is a better idea in the extreme heat.
here i am a fellow nice person stumbling upon another kind individual who likes doing good deeds for humanity in these times of "oh god it's burning hot please help me" type of summer and it brings me who cant do much rn and probably not for another 10 or so years because of my life filled with almost every mental illness i can think of including: adhd, autism, add, odd, depression, insane sensitivity to anything that interacts w/ my body, suicidal tendencies, memory loss, asthma, and allergies to: all 52 considered nuts, fur, all Eco related things (except air) meaning trees, grass, bushes, etc, but seeing someone as generous and kind as you make my heart glow in the best way possible so thank you for your good doings
I used to give the drivers that delivered my packages drinks, Gatorade in the summer, fresh cup of coffee in the winter, small things that matter the most. We get connected with our delivery drivers and postal workers after so many years, especially in my small town. Keep doing what you do. Maybe offer them snacks like trail mix with the drinks. They drive and deliver hundreds of packages a day with limited time for snacks or drinks.

To comment on the back of delivery trucks, here in Germany we can have some pretty hot summers. During one summer where I was out delivering for Amazon, we hit 43°C (109.4°F) and the shitty EVs had no working ACs, they were shut off electronically to save battery, so we have more range and can take on longer routes (thank you Amazon...) The outside was already hot, the drivers cabin was surviveable with both windows all the way down, but oh boy the second you crossed the line to where the back starts.. it felt like you entered an oven.. my thermometer said 73°C (163.4°F). They did give us a nice Polo shirt with their advertisement on it, that was sticking to your skin in the heat.. a cold bottle of water would have been lovely.
I always enjoy your videos. Firefighters paramedics, law enforcement officers, delivery drivers are always hardworking. For next video, maybe essential bus drivers on break. When I used to live in nyc, I stopped by at my friend's restaurant in Great Neck and saw Nassau County bus in Long Island, NY was broken down, so I offered him plant based candybar because he was waiting for maintenance truck for hour. I sometimes help homeless too. I remember one time doing the 5 borough pizza transit challenge, I had vegan pizza pie at Bario in Staten Island, and since I couldn't finish, I offer to homeless guy on 57 St after taking express bus back. On October 1st, 2023 when I took my first ride on Greyhound Bus to Albany to volunteer at vegan festival at capital, our male driver on 7:20am bus were excellent. Even there was some kind of smoke condition with pit stop, he got to Albany 13 minutes early and I tried to give vegan chip I got from fire station and he said no thank you. Since I was only going to capitol, nice bus driver on cdta 905 bus driver gave me free ride. After that, volunteer, all the vendors and volunteers got free vegan Donuts from Donut vendor and I took like 12 Donuts and I tried to give female cdta driver on 905 for free ride exchange and she said thank you. On return trip, my bus 5:20pm was same bus that got overhead before. After bus arrived back, Midtown, I tried to give bus driver and ticket checker and he said no thank you, so I took Donut to my first firehouse friend in Yorkville to drop off for them, then I went home. Also two weeks ago during summer camp with vegans near Cold Spring, after summer camp, I gave one of Putnam County Area Rapid Transit's Trolley bus driver vegan potato chip which were leftover and he said thank you. Also November 2022, I did same for NJVegFest volunteer at Meadowlands Expo Center in Harmon Creek, I gave thank you and vegan dessert to nj transit bus driver on #320 bus on return trip.

When I first got clean, and luckily found a really good job that changed my life, I'd load up on McDoubles and McChickens and just drop em off to places where I knew there were people strugglin.. I never recorded any of em, but it just feels good. Never had a single person say no or be anything less than grateful. People have an image in their head of drug users living on the streets, and I assure you reading this that there's people you'd never imagine out there with problems who are just stuck. Not everyone is choosing to live like the people you see on the news on the streets of SF or Seattle, etc.
This just made me smile so wide. This just warmed my heart so much (but luckily, not to 101F haha) that I'm a loss. Jeremiah, I don't know how I stumbled across this video, but you sir are awesome. As a guy who works at the DHL in Germany, your Deliver Car rooms from Fedex are literaly realy big. I love it, in comparision with ours, which we need at least come back to the HQ load more 2 or 3 times and then deliver it again. It does for sure save the time of load. Have a Good work!

People probably don't like you giving them prime since it sucks at hydrating due to the severe lack of sodium. Prime claims that it is an "hydration drink", but it lacks the most important electrolyte, sodium. So thats why gatorate is a better idea in the extreme heat.
Its also less of a household name then Gatorade as a newer company

here i am a fellow nice person stumbling upon another kind individual who likes doing good deeds for humanity in these times of "oh god it's burning hot please help me" type of summer and it brings me who cant do much rn and probably not for another 10 or so years because of my life filled with almost every mental illness i can think of including: adhd, autism, add, odd, depression, insane sensitivity to anything that interacts w/ my body, suicidal tendencies, memory loss, asthma, and allergies to: all 52 considered nuts, fur, all Eco related things (except air) meaning trees, grass, bushes, etc, but seeing someone as generous and kind as you make my heart glow in the best way possible so thank you for your good doings
I used to give the drivers that delivered my packages drinks, Gatorade in the summer, fresh cup of coffee in the winter, small things that matter the most. We get connected with our delivery drivers and postal workers after so many years, especially in my small town. Keep doing what you do. Maybe offer them snacks like trail mix with the drinks. They drive and deliver hundreds of packages a day with limited time for snacks or drinks.

awesome video as a delivery driver myself. also major kudos for sugar free drinks cause that helps so much more. hell even just frozen water helps so much. if nothing else, it can be used as an icepack to cool down until it can be drank

To comment on the back of delivery trucks, here in Germany we can have some pretty hot summers. During one summer where I was out delivering for Amazon, we hit 43°C (109.4°F) and the shitty EVs had no working ACs, they were shut off electronically to save battery, so we have more range and can take on longer routes (thank you Amazon...) The outside was already hot, the drivers cabin was surviveable with both windows all the way down, but oh boy the second you crossed the line to where the back starts.. it felt like you entered an oven.. my thermometer said 73°C (163.4°F).
They did give us a nice Polo shirt with their advertisement on it, that was sticking to your skin in the heat.. a cold bottle of water would have been lovely.

I always enjoy your videos. Firefighters paramedics, law enforcement officers, delivery drivers are always hardworking. For next video, maybe essential bus drivers on break. When I used to live in nyc, I stopped by at my friend's restaurant in Great Neck and saw Nassau County bus in Long Island, NY was broken down, so I offered him plant based candybar because he was waiting for maintenance truck for hour.
I sometimes help homeless too. I remember one time doing the 5 borough pizza transit challenge, I had vegan pizza pie at Bario in Staten Island, and since I couldn't finish, I offer to homeless guy on 57 St after taking express bus back.
On October 1st, 2023 when I took my first ride on Greyhound Bus to Albany to volunteer at vegan festival at capital, our male driver on 7:20am bus were excellent. Even there was some kind of smoke condition with pit stop, he got to Albany 13 minutes early and I tried to give vegan chip I got from fire station and he said no thank you. Since I was only going to capitol, nice bus driver on cdta 905 bus driver gave me free ride.
After that, volunteer, all the vendors and volunteers got free vegan Donuts from Donut vendor and I took like 12 Donuts and I tried to give female cdta driver on 905 for free ride exchange and she said thank you.
On return trip, my bus 5:20pm was same bus that got overhead before. After bus arrived back, Midtown, I tried to give bus driver and ticket checker and he said no thank you, so I took Donut to my first firehouse friend in Yorkville to drop off for them, then I went home.
Also two weeks ago during summer camp with vegans near Cold Spring, after summer camp, I gave one of Putnam County Area Rapid Transit's Trolley bus driver vegan potato chip which were leftover and he said thank you.
Also November 2022, I did same for NJVegFest volunteer at Meadowlands Expo Center in Harmon Creek, I gave thank you and vegan dessert to nj transit bus driver on #320 bus on return trip.
i absolutely would do this, however where im at in a small town we dont have public busses haha! Glad youre able to help them though!

When I first got clean, and luckily found a really good job that changed my life, I'd load up on McDoubles and McChickens and just drop em off to places where I knew there were people strugglin.. I never recorded any of em, but it just feels good. Never had a single person say no or be anything less than grateful. People have an image in their head of drug users living on the streets, and I assure you reading this that there's people you'd never imagine out there with problems who are just stuck. Not everyone is choosing to live like the people you see on the news on the streets of SF or Seattle, etc.

As a guy who works at the DHL in Germany, your Deliver Car rooms from Fedex are literaly realy big. I love it, in comparision with ours, which we need at least come back to the HQ load more 2 or 3 times and then deliver it again. It does for sure save the time of load. Have a Good work!

Seeing how excited you get to help people is awesome. People need to realize that being kind to others, whether it costs money or not, makes you feel good and makes both your day and their day better.
I would suggest buying them earlier, and putting them in the refrigerator. Then putting them on ice to keep them cold.
