I took care of my dad at home because I was afraid of the care he would receive in a nursing home. He had dementia and He wouldn’t have been able to tell me if he was being mistreated. It is so sad to have our elderly being mistreated like that.

For me I am a great caretaker for my grandmother I give her water I bring her snacks and she loves and if she says I need help with something I would always say call me or text me and let me know if you need something because I am here for you ❤❤❤and I love my grandma she is 69 years old

They figure chances are a decent lawyer will do everything they can to slow the case to trial as long as possible that chances are, the older person will have passed or within weeks of passing by the a date is set for trial. Don't mess with older people. They might decide at their age and/or health they have nothing to lose.

yes sometimes we are not sure about something because we love our friend, but when we are not sure and ask to double check and get verified then we start thinking otherwise. YOU must respect the elderly, I know some can get out of hand but if you can't stand the heat, get out of the Kitchen and let someone else who is stronger take the place. I agree with the mom when she said that she felt like he was her first son when he was four years old. I I worked as a nursing assistant I 35 years and everyone and I worked with appreciated each elderly people. I am so thankful to the good Lord that her son had cameras around that was so smart. And he was working so he hurried home, that was awesome at the right time.

In May 18th 2014, I just gotten out of ICU, almost die, I was almost 400 lb. and had diabetes complications. Two teenage boys forced themselves into my apartment and beat me up and stole my medication. They ran out. I called the police and the police didn't do nothing about it. The officer just accused me of letting them in, laughed at me and left, detained the two criminals and let them go. The officer called me and called me a liar, that the two teenage boys didn't do anything to me. I was disappointed that police is there to protect you and sometimes they protect the criminal instead. A week later, the same two teenage boys assaulted yet another person sending this one to ICU with two serious wound in his head. This time a competent police officer took the case, the criminals were arrested, convicted and got a 2 years sentence. They were released on 2016 and threatened the boy who sent them to prison, the boy was 20 years old and scared of his assailants so he committed suicide. I blamed that 1st cop in the death of this boy. Because if he would have dealt with the two criminals and charged them when they beat me up, they would not have beaten that boy. By exonerate the pair of delinquents he gave them the green light to do it again. I am now fully recovered, lost 200 lb , I am not scared of the two cowards, one of them saw me and ran. They need each other to fight, alone they are nothing but a cockroach that needs to be squashed. 2 years in prison was not enough time considering the nature of their crime.

No need to leave a voice message or just have an intercom that connects to your cellphone so you can hear what is going on in the place so if there is a problem you can return or send another young male loved one and the police to go back if your too far to return.

Carers who hate this job should do something different and maybe sweep the streets. Some of them even steal from the people they are supposed to care. Some are good though.

In May 18th 2014, I just gotten out of ICU, almost die, I was almost 400 lb. and had diabetes complications. Two teenage boys forced themselves into my apartment and beat me up and stole my medication. They ran out. I called the police and the police didn't do nothing about it. The officer just accused me of letting them in, laughed at me and left, detained the two criminals and let them go. The officer called me and called me a liar, that the two teenage boys didn't do anything to me. I was disappointed that police is there to protect you and sometimes they protect the criminal instead. A week later, the same two teenage boys assaulted yet another person sending this one to ICU with two serious wound in his head. This time a competent police officer took the case, the criminals were arrested, convicted and got a 2 years sentence. They were released on 2016 and threatened the boy who sent them to prison, the boy was 20 years old and scared of his assailants so he committed suicide. I blamed that 1st cop in the death of this boy. Because if he would have dealt with the two criminals and charged them when they beat me up, they would not have beaten that boy. By exonerate the pair of delinquents he gave them the green light to do it again. I am now fully recovered, lost 200 lb , I am not scared of the two cowards, one of them saw me and ran. They need each other to fight, alone they are nothing but a cockroach that needs to be squashed. 2 years in prison was not enough time considering the nature of their crime.

This is why you call references; you do not take hiring a caregiver lightly.
and have hidden cameras and when the wrong caregiver ignores the landline call, make it that its automatic and hears what is going on in the house. No need to leave a voice message or just have an intercom that connects to your cellphone so you can hear what is going on in the place so if there is a problem you can return or send another young male loved one and the police to go back if your too far to return.
