Great vid. My fav is the Havoc Pit Boss. It also has a swimming action that can mimic a fish and for $2.86 per pack, excellent value. Has caught me numerous bass!
I heard that a new power bait version of as coming out... it haven’t seen it yet in my area. But will try once I see it (though I have about 25-30 packages of old model since the price is too hard to pass up).
Another great video Baitman. I’m coming to Ky lake in a few weeks and trying to downsize the amount of tackle I bring on the boat. So far my list is: Deep cranks Big spoons Tremor jigs Hair jigs Hard and soft swimbaits and jerkbaits Drop shot Shakeyhead Big worm Structure jigs Topwater (poppers and walkers) Spinnerbaits C-rig Frog Ned-Rig Creature baits See anything that I need to add or can leave home.?
@@TheBaitmanTV cause on tackle warehouse they have worm tungsten and flipping tungsten so i just wanted to know which one is better for creature baits/craw for casting it out to open water
Re: The Archelon. You didn't mention how there's a hole in the bottom where you can slip a worm rattle in. Slide it in and work it towards the top before you put the hook in.
@@TheBaitmanTV I love the Archelon as well. That and the Pit Boss are my 2 favorite. And for dirty water I love shoving a glass worm rattle in the Archelon. Just make sure you do it before bringing the hook back thru it.
Very solid video I also like to use the Gene Larew Mega Ring tube to mix it up. It's a great flipping bait with a different profile than your normal creature baits
Was getting my ass spanked by my buddy with a structure bug in the bushes this spring. He forced me to put one on. Caught a fish on my very first flip. I filled out my limit after that. I became a structure bug guy that afternoon. LOL
Love using the structure bug and reactions sweet beaver, great vid and advice...be back down for tournament again in week 1/2, but launching around kentlake but gonna try to stop in your shop on way down...
I will say, as much as I love the structure bug, they are a little on the pricey side. Not that the price itself is bad, but the price to durability ratio is lacking. They get ripped apart too dang easy
Isaac Pelletier right they are super soft. I’ve always thought though the softness is what makes em so good. It’s kind of a catch 22. I don’t know what you pay but I sell em for 5.99 /Pack. Maybe cheaper.
That's about what I pay at my local tackle shop. They are worth the money, but I am definitely going to give some of the others on this list a try, since they are tearing apart so easily. Definitely wanna try out the archelon after hearing Tactical Bassin recommend them.
Don't apologize for working hard and crazy hours, that's what helps allowing you to spend quality time with family afterwards, and yep an occasional JINX🐟😀
Links to Baits in description!! Be sure to like and Sub if you haven’t!
Hey baitman family is more important than anything.
Zoom Z Hog

Alex Ruiz I like the new powebait version as well!

Alex Ruiz for sure. TW has the powerbait version. I still have the Havocs
Appreciate what you put out. Very educational.
KYmachete Guy thanks Dude
Love the havoc pitboss! They always produce
Sweet beaver my go to flipping bait
Love the pitboss they are cheap and catch fish favorite color is black-blue.
Glad to see you back at the vids man! Great vid.
Nathan Bruns thanks been swamped!!
Turbo craw from Z-man, super durable, and floating pinchers simulates craw defensive posture.
Great stuff.
If agree with most. Just because I haven't tried a few of them. I'm glad KY lake got to show off it's shallow bite and glad Wesley got the W.
Nick Cavazos Wesley is a great Dude. Very happy for him
No big flipping tubes?
Zach Morgan Big Bite CrAw Tube no 5

Deep cranks
Big spoons
Tremor jigs

Creature baits
See anything that I need to add or can leave home.?
Shady Banks honestly the way the lake is Fishing I wouldn’t leave much at home. Lol
Love the video man. My fav way to fish is flipping, and pitching jigs and plastic. So this was really fascinating to me
Great video Kevin, D bomb is the bomb
hey kev what would you recommend on tungsten style weight for t rig worm or flipping for casting it out on creature baits?
MyTopSpinner Size or brand
@@TheBaitmanTV i mean the style worm or flipping
I just use whatever brand I can find
Personally black or unpolished
@@TheBaitmanTV cause on tackle warehouse they have worm tungsten and flipping tungsten so i just wanted to know which one is better for creature baits/craw for casting it out to open water
I use the flipping tungsten for about everything. In the big scheme the only difference is the shape.
I always lose baits when I use screw lock hooks.
If you upgrade the size of the owner cps screw to one size bigger, you’ll lose less baits
#1 all time , a 3/8 oz black/blue jig and if you're lucky enough to have a stash put away , a #11 Uncle Josh pork frog.
If you aren’t talking soft plastics. I’d agree.
Re: The Archelon. You didn't mention how there's a hole in the bottom where you can slip a worm rattle in. Slide it in and work it towards the top before you put the hook in.
No sir I didn’t. Thanks!
Great video
Illinois Angling thanks!
Magnum Rage bug is my number 1. Just caught a 27lb bag on it last weekend up here in Indiana
Hunter Croak nice
Your music makes it seem like you're going to give bad news. I don't really think you even need it. But thanks for the info on the baits.
Can’t forget the Zoom Z-Hog they are bomb too!
Hey dude! When u gonna get more Man Bear Pigs? Those are so are to find.
Next week. I been hounding reaction. Awesome bait
TheBaitmanTV thanks dude!
ILLUMINATHAN79 I caught a man bear pig in imagination land caught me a 25 pound cat fish
We have more coming tomorrow FYI
You didn't even mention how the Archelon has a hole and hollow body where you can fit a rattle into.
Nope I didn’t! Sometimes I miss things. Great Bait tho! I don’t use raffles too often. Thx for watching

Mike Adams ahhh yes it is
Hi Great Vid! I am just wondering what do you do with the used damage soft baits? Do you throw them away or do you reuse them? Thx
The Biffle bug wasn't in your top ten.... what are your thoughts on the Biffle bug?
Tim Yoder great bait. Personally I don’t flip it I crank it. It’ll be making an appearance soon
Gambler whynot and bb cricket needs to be on there 🤙
Nathan Todd why not is a really good bait. Def would make a “punching” baits list. Ugly otter is. Really good one
What about the Brushog?!? I love that Bait!
Was getting my ass spanked by my buddy with a structure bug in the bushes this spring. He forced me to put one on. Caught a fish on my very first flip. I filled out my limit after that. I became a structure bug guy that afternoon. LOL
Also, The archelon is hollowed out so your hook point is completely weedless. No need to expose and skin hook.
Love using the structure bug and reactions sweet beaver, great vid and advice...be back down for tournament again in week 1/2, but launching around kentlake but gonna try to stop in your shop on way down...

Weird, I counted four circles ;) but hey. No biffle bug??? Man bear pig and Gambler why not are favorites
