All songs up until now are interesting and replayable because they employed certain tricks at certain times to keep that engagement. This one threw them all in at once, including a few others, like clearing out for Akane’s fill/transitions into the next section. Not overly complex but because they popped and right up front you can hear right away that they are all different and purposeful (rather than just feeling it), Kanami’s extended solo goes without saying and MISA providing the epilogue is a taste of things to come. 1. Personally I watch your rankings only to see you suffer. The whole ranking system has always been impossible with Band Maid. But having decided to do the ranking. It now is just watching somebody go through therapy. At the end of this (hopefully it will never end). You will be a dribbling, twitching and have the sunken eyes and still claim 'this is a tough one'. Madness is creeping in.
Right, "Unfair Game" is the perfect example of why I can't rank Band-Maid songs. It is a freaking awesome progressive hard rock song and I love it. Do I love it more than "YOLO?" Or "Alone?" Well, that depends on my mood. So "Unfair Game" would be one of the 70 or 80 songs in my top 10 Band-Maid songs because, after a while, I realised that when a Band-Maid song exceeds a certain limit - let's call it the Awesomeness Factor - then it becomes impossible to split hairs and rank order songs that are all awesome. So, yes, each Band-Maid song is very different from one another but nearly all of Band-Maid's songs exceed the Awesomeness Factor!! 🤘🤘🙌🙌💕💕❤❤

Maidiacs will spaz at me for this, but as much as I love Saiki, I'm just not feeling how the tone and rhythm of the singing is in this one. I would love to hear this as an instrumental, as drums/bass/guitars are utterly spectacular here, and are amongst my favourites of all Band-Maid songs.
