These old pictures are fascinating it's like going back in time just to see what life was like and to see what people wore and what they did plus most of the buildings are still standing and to see the old cars
I see these people and wonder, did they accomplish some of the main goals they had in life. Or did something happen and they had to put it aside to raise a family or tend to a sick relative? They all had hopes and dreams and I like to think that some of them realized those dreams, if only for a short while.
The working class didn't have high aspirations because so few people ever made it out of that life. Most had never been beyond their small town or neighborhood and few could read or write.They worked incredibly hard and raised children to do the same

I think the photo of Kilarney, Canada is later than the 1900s. Looks like a Model A in the backround. Those came out in 1927.
I have the exact kettle in my kitchen that the photo of Mrs knees has on her stove
