Three good days on the former Bessemer in early September 2020. You really need 3-4 good days to get alot of good shots since there's usually only a train a day.
    --Day One--
    0:00 - departing Conneaut.
1:06 - grade crossing between Albion and Conneautville.
    1:48 - KO Jct. (n.k.a. Sandy)
    2:14 - Butler.
    ---Day Two--
This day (a Wednesday) they did run a local to Butler and return, and I was in place to get the road train arriving at Conneaut.
    3:02 - arriving at Conneaut.
    4:52 - departing Conneaut.
    6:17 - Albion.
    7:18 - Shermansville.
    8:37 - Osgood trestle.
9:17 - Orr Road outside of Mercer.
10:08 - local power returning engines lite to Greenville from Orr Road.
10:36 - same power set approaching the distance signal to Shenago.
    ---Day Three---
I couldn't resist one more day since it dawned foggy along the lake. I did shoot them arriving and departing Conneaut in the fog, but left it out of this video. Instead we pick up the chase at the signals at RX in Albion at 10:49.
    12:02 - Hartstown.
12:47 - "Kelsey" interlocking south of Greenville where the KO cutoff and main line through Greenville come alongside each other.
13:18 - distance signal to the north end of SX (Saxonburg).
Since I missed the return journey crossing the huge bridge over the Allegheny outside North Bessemer, and with about an hour and a half of usable light I chased north.
14:35 - just north of Butler.
    15:07 - Branchton.

Nice catches! I like the classic EMD power and the Illinois Central “Death Star” paint scheme a lot! Really nice!

Do you have any more Conrail videos to show us in the future?

I just want to check on you! I was wondering if you happen to have more railway footage shot in Sudbury & Sault Ste Marie?

Awesome video! I’m curious of why there’s no footage of XB ?

One of the days they ran a local to Butler and return ahead of the road train that I wanted to get returning to Greenville once the road train was past them. Then the next day I had planned on getting the empties returning to Greenville over the huge bridge over the Allegheny, but missed them. I scoped out North Bessemer on Google Maps and it doesn't look terribly accessible to begin with anyway.

Railroad Media Archive True you have to be familiar with the area like me which I am a local and know how to get to everything

That’s me in Butler I know where to get good shots of the train but don’t know when they come by

@@RailroadMediaArchive It's very inaccessible unless you trespass, and since the XB yard is owned by the Union Railroad they don't take too kindly to trespassers. Additionally it's hard to chase them out of XB because they have a far more direct path across the river, it only takes them about 10 minutes to clear the bridge meanwhile you'll spend another 10-20 minutes stuck in traffic down in Oakmont and Harmar.

Those Illinois Central brutes are SD70s? The trucks look differently from SD50s/SD60s.

      Yes, they're 70s.

NS had some very similar. Were good units. They are now rebuilt into the 1800 series (SD70ACC).
