Just wonder is possible to get a car like this even 2018 year but with a automatic gearbox also 1.6l diesel or is hard to get someone? Also what kind of Auto gear box will be fitted in this Civic(somebody says 6 speed,others speaking for a 9 speed automatic). And did you recommend a Civic with auto gear box or not? Hi Ian, in 2018 approximately August they launched the automatic gearbox for diesel civic carpet it is a nine speed automatic, the six speed was a manual, while technically it would be possible to get this car in 2018 In premium specification, in automatic and in diesel, it would be very rare, because it was launched so late that year .. Most people didn’t purchase a car like that until 2019 for the new registration, there was a very few premium automatic versions sold however as they were very expensive!!! So it’s most likely if you’re going to find one that it would be 2019! Hope that helps!
Did they discontinue the 10th gen Honda Civic i-DTEC models after 2020? I really wish there were more diesel platforms like these in the US, but the demand simply isn’t as high. I would personally absolutely LOVE one of these 10th gens in a COUPE chassis with a manual diesel powertrain.
Thanks for watching! That would be a really rare vehicle, coupe with diesel! So at the moment we still have The diesel in hatchback only, however from 2022 diesel is finished in Europe for a Honda so I presume at that point we get the 11th generation version!
