- This is Slayer performing 'Kill Again' at the Dynamo in Holland. I spliced it together with another perfect soundboard from Holland 85 for an enhanced audio and I think it came together relatively well. It freezes for a couple of seconds in the beginning, but I was too lazy to go back to the drawing board and fix it. :)

Believe or not it was and is my favorite Slayer song besides all from Show no Mercy since 1985. Wasn't much Slayer fan after Reign in Blood but love them.

"Hell Awaits" just had that totally "evil" vibe that remains unmatched to this day by ANYONE. And it's a shame we'll never seen stage diving like this again...:-D

yeah, the riffs. totally unique , sometimes complex turnarounds and jigsaw changes, and sometimes the most simple but evil sounding worm-holes bugging the brain. 30 years later and I am still not sick of these guys. I appreciate their classic stuff more with time.

You have to get this stuff in context to appreciate how incredibly brutal and extreme it was for its time...truly groundbreaking. It was understandably eclipsed by 'Reign in Blood', but 'Hell Awaits' was a fantastic album in its own right.
HELL AWAITS IS A BETTER ALBUM THAN REIGN IN BLOOD. I'VE ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT. REIGN IN BLOOD IN MY OPINION IS A BIT OVER RATED.
Hell awaits is their best album imo.

yeah 28 yrs ago wow slayer still thrashes hard & puts out awesome albums .me personally like the older stuff.up till reign in blood..was their best&heaviest stuff so far /show no mercy haunting the chapel reign in blood all 3 album thrash...patmat also i must say south of heaven also.cant forget about that album....those four albums r the best...my opinion...patmat2013

@ChaosWolf159 THey still have shows like this! I live in the San Francicsco Bay Area and the hardcore punk and thrash is still alive and well here. You just have to stick to the underground scene. Don't go to the big shows. We still stage dive and pit as hard as ever. If youre ever in the area look up the oakland metro... Its always got good shows!

Nice video!! Hell awaits is very underrated and really is just as good as Reign in blood. They should just go back in the studio and record it again with Kerry's and Jeff's new guitar sound. The sound quality is the only thing bad about that record.
