My daughter and I are going down to Sydney for the T L Swan Book signing of The Bonus. The story was in The Christmas List, and it set up for this story. If you can get a hold of that it probably would be best considering you have that trigger for secret baby trope (no judgement). There is a reason, and you would probably agree with how this unfolds. The set up leaves for so much angst not to mention grovelling, and so much more as Grace is a character Im really drawn to. Hope this helps Jen xx
Yeah, I've read the set up for it! Haha! And the secret baby Whispers are definitely holding me back. But we shall see! It's just been a few years, so maybe I'll have to revisit
Did you know that Joseph Morgan wrote two short stories that he narrates himself? Something about you mentioning him reminded me that he'd done that at some point.

I am very excited for Rally! I'm mildly excited for Banana Pants by Penny Reid.
My current reading plans are: Last Light by Claire Kent, Until the Stars Fall by Vanessa Rasanen, and Play Along by Liz Tomforde. I'm hoping that by only putting 3 or 4 books on my TBR I'll actually read all of them. 😬
Lols!! I miss having a freer TBR but I also like being able to review books for everyone, obviously. Haha! But I do miss the freedom sometimes!

It's nice to not be tied down to a reading list, but if a book has a due date (like a library book) my brain decides that the stars are not in position for me to want to read that book. And there's really no point in forcing myself to finish a book just to give it a lower rating than I would have if I'd waited. No ARCs for me I'm afraid 😭
