G’day Jason I haven’t built a ship model since my youth but I’m an avid aircraft modeller. I love watching your ship builds both plastic and wooden Keep up the great content
Hi Jason, Another great Table Talk. I hope the pain from the tooth problem of getting better. I'll be looking forward to the live show tomorrow. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
Hi Jason, Great table talk as normal. Look forward to finally seeing the Tomahawk..lol. Will try and drop in at some point during the live to find out what's planned for the two group builds. Hope the mouth is much better. Speak to you soon.
Thanks Jason, just managing to catch this up now. Missed the live stream too due to another busy weekend, life is life. I do hope you get your dental woes sorted as there's nothing worse. For my part I got my flu vaccince late last week, hard to believe that's what gets me excited now 😆, cheers.
As usual a great video and full of interesting stuff. I feel like I’ve been thirty seconds with Mike Tyson. I had my Hernia repair Thursday and they did a lot of pulling really hard on the retractors and my abdomen so far has turned yellow in the bruising and is really quite painful to touch. It’s playing with my sleep as I cannot lie n my side or front as it pulls the . The other half is board with a Christmas and Birthday present combined to aid me in purchasing the Sherbourne and some tools for wooden kits. I’d love59 get involved in a group build next year, as long as I have a kit that will qualify. My problem usually is having enough time. Due to my conditions and multiple surgeries, I sometimes am not well enough to model for months, in fact I haven’t actually completed a model this year. Due to being really unwell in the closing months last year I didn’t sit at my bench until April 2024. So a goodly amount of time is required for me to have a chance. I’d love,to go to Telford this year, but it’s in my recovery period so the driving might get a little difficult. Because of that I’d need a hotel, but that would hugely reduce any funds I might need for those kits I didn’t know I needed. After all you can’t go and not get something, can you? My surname by the way, most get it wrong. They never put it in the spelling phrases but it’s I before e except after c, AND in the case of my surname so it’s pronounced “Old reeve”. FYI it’s been traced back as far as The doomsday book. Apparently we used to be er cough, tax collectors for the landed gentry of the time, so my ancestors went found collecting taxes or bang them over the head with something heavy. There’s also the Reivers or Reevers from up on the Borders who were active between 14th and late 17th centuries.
The as yet to be decided group build how about something to do with winter.....a winter camo aircraft or a car stuck in the snow or a train with a snow plough or a winter armored battle scene or an ice breaker ship?......just a suggestion Jason
