I would honestly use lodestone for floors in areas without containment, such as offices, cafeterias and entrance zones.

in my opinion polished diorite really looks like the floor of the foundation sites so that's what i use
(edit) I base my designs for zones from cb while i mix my own style in (To make it easier or more compelling like those pure white walls for lc get boring after a while)

U can build and elevator using black concrete and white concrete and command blocks commands /tp the coords

You can use 2x2 piston door for opening doors

Tiny little tip: for entrance zone u can make the bottom block quartz, middle concrete then top quartz again, u dont gotta do that if u dont wanna, its just something i thought of, keep up the good work but dont over work yourself!

i have my own build of a scp foundation i used iron doors for safe scps and piston doors for euclid and keter plus i hid it in a hill
