i like how people are putting down the lab. saying the bite was weak and all that go out take a video of yourself getting bit by a full grown labrador with out medical treatment and tell me your alright. the size of the head on a dog will let you know they have a great amount of pressure and a labs head is almost as big as a rottie.
TheDogcatchersito I agree man, my Labrador is only 6 months and has a hard play bite I can only imagine the bite force when he is fully grown! I know they are a very gentle breed but I wouldn't like to piss one of they are near enough the same size as a Rottweiler dude
TheDogcatchersito yea:) and I know dude it be mad if they did!, Labradors can put on weight quite quickly if over Fed, but I don't do that with my Labrador
Eoin Ryan this is not protection work. Its a dog sport. In this case its better to target the legs. its easier to dodge a flying dog trust me. French ring look it up
This isn't real protection training, it's sport training, the leg grip is preferred because it's harder for the decoy to get away. Even though the dog is permitted to bite anywhere else, they're usually taught to go for the leg cause it's easier to hang on. Decoys can more easily wrestle out of an arm grip for example and other grips might lose points on how quickly they can grab em.
now this is the kind of Labrador i love to see :) working!!! Il est super votre Labrador et il a une excellente ethique de travail!
Love to see the "off" breeds doing sports! I have a lab in Schutzhund and a Rottie that does dock diving!
Working line labs can do schutzhund no prob
beautiful lab and and good job at training him/her. really shows off the breeds smarts.
The dog is obviously having fun, who cares about anything else.

Mark Burke very true. I can hardly believe they get up to 85 pounds.

The bite of a lab is weak only if he want it to be weak :D
I love Labrador
Nice work good training.
Nice
Should be arm. That way he won't get hurt by the attackers weapon

This is French ring.
Best to get the dog aim the Hand with weapon and switch everytime the attacker switch weapon ... Not at the leg.. Dont want my dog knifed or some..
