I love how they actually bother showing us monster and NPC interactions between themselves without the MC getting too involved, it really sells you into the feeling that MC is just one of the million players in an MMO
Pencilgon stated she wants to defeat the colossus for Set-chan, and we can see the grave has Setsuna Amatsuki written on it. That's enough proof for me she is doing it for a dead NPC, probably an in-game mission.
Arthur motivation is interesting. For now I think it’s either a player that got killed and hit with a huge debuff like Sunraku that made them quit or an NPC dying,both of which are really good ways to make her eventually party up with our MC so they can beat it together. But it raised another thought in my head,if that really is an NPC,then that means that Emul isn’t safe and man…I don’t want to see our cute little bunny go…
yeah either way the thought of npcs dying is interesting cause we get connected in video games as it stands, at this level realism and the deaths mean much more
Pretty sure Sunraku is more concerned that Rei wanted to be friends because of the secret event he unlocked with Emul rather than her trying to kill him. Part of the reason he declined her coming with him even though he does have a good reason that he doesn't wanna be powerleveled which she realizes "of course you don't!" lol. She's adorable. Also I am assuming we all knew that Pencilgon was Amane from the first time we saw her on the cover. Hope Rei doesn't get jealous when she finds out that Sunraku is friends with her after she leaves that garbage PK guild. The way Sunraku interacts with Emul is great, he doesn't treat her like an NPC lol - asking her to do color commentary and saying "it's a bug eat bug world" when she says it feels like cheating to come in after the queen bee was killed.

The fact that Asura Kai’s GL said that the Colossi aren’t meant to be beaten proves both that Asura Kai is on its last legs, and that it’s all his fault. That’s not the way that gamers talk. Dude is a weakling, and it’s no wonder Pencilgon is looking to jump ship.
To rest of players Pshycher 0 is powerful player warrior to be messs with even our boy thinks she is out to get him. But for us we know what she really wants is be friends and confess her feelings and its funny to see this player who everyone knows respects and if afraid of spinning and turning out of hapiness.
Sunraku trying to keep his secret as close to his chest as possible. Psyger-0 little dance after the friend request was adorable. Pencildragon breaking away from her guild will be exciting as she tries to befriend Sunraku and Psyger trying to block as much as possible. The art work in the forest was great, I don't mind the cut corners during the beetle and bee fight since the plot needed to advance. The drops from the beetle are going to make some fine additions to his weapons. The only thing missing is Maple in her monster form to stumble in or for the Log Horizon crew to casually walk by. Loving this anime. Hope the animation team can keep up the quality till the end.
Seeing Psyger-0 and Sunraku misunderstanding each other' intentions was frickin' hilarious 🤣 At least she was able to become friend with him ingame 😌 The new forest area is visually stunning and so colourful 😳 Arthur's lost friend is perhaps a NPC like you said or just an old friend 🤔 This incredible ride ain't gonna end soon and I'm all in for more 😎🔥

The most unrealistic thing about "Shangri-la Frontier" is that all of the female players are actually hot in real life.
I need next sunday to get here since i read ahead and now i want to see peak animated.
When the bees were attacking the beetle, that was the first time with this anime that I felt the animation was a bit lacking.
I started reading the manga n am happy to see it's almost 200 chapters.
